  2. hey guys this maybe a shot in the dark but it gave me my answer.... For several years I was a junk food junkie and lived on pizza rolls the main brand (Totino's) and I always suffered from itchy blisters on my feet and hands not knowing wht caused it and always got them around summer time (the time I ate more of them) thinking it was poison or my shoes...
  3. Linda, So u had a neg test too. Well so did I and a neg biopsy...but I have DH and get severe Diha,and hives from injesting gluten or other wheat products (dr.DXD me with DH says yes it is celiac disease now ) Just trying to say test can be neg and u still have it cuz we do, the best way we found out was to to the Gluten challenge do u need test...
  4. Sorry u r feeling so crappy I to had gone gluten-free so I thought.... I was eating chips from Lays / ingredients r potato's sunflower oil salt....but for some odds reason when I eat them I break out in hives as I do with anything containing gluten or it's buddy's so maybe u too r misssing hidden products like I was Now if it doesn't say gluten...
  5. Hey Mark, Sorry to hear u too maybe have this awful disease, but I'm sure it better then the MS. My brother-in-law was DXD about 10+ years ago with MS but now his brother (my hubby) is having symptoms of celiac disease (we have a Celiac Spru son age 17) and I too have celiac disease so myabe bro-in-law too? Not sure but we r going for gene test in...
  6. Hey he has a great Pizza crust recipe and sauce posted on site maybe he should sell them the info. and they could make his 'Great Tasting Pizza' for all and no more cardboard dough or belly aches from the glutened crust So how bout it Dave? Just a suggestion
  7. Andrea, Thanks for the research u did I sure can use all I can get my hands on ! My son needs a lunch everyday for work, He is usually under ground and there isn't any way to even heat food or wash his hands so he has to have something in a baggie easy to eat (he works in a coal mine I will try all the "New" recp's all those wonderful ppl have taken...

David, Thanks you for the recp's, and u r so right about this stuff tasteing like "cardboard' my hubby said my bread was like eating sawdust, so I hope ur's r better then the pre-mixes having some probls on the findings or flours that don't cost have a leg ! We have a health food store who sells all the free flours but for 16 oz. $7.00 for 4 hotdog...

I made pizza out of a pre mixed gluten free mix made by Gluten-Free Pantry and man was it soooooo gritty it was gross.The toppings were great just the crust was unbearable to eat Does anyone out there have any other ways to bake breads or pastries or pizza crust wthout the cement feel or grity taste? I have always wanted to try IHOP just never have due to not a big breakfast fan, just wanted to try their stuffed french toast but was affraid to eat out and then go shopping all day (not to fond of having back door trots in a shopping mall) lol So I also saw u had Wendy's on ur safe rest. list.....   14. Well guys hate to burst anyones bubble here but....since i was dx'd with DH have eaten at Arby's(after awhile of being gluten-free) and they made me sicker then a dog for 3 days.... I had cheese stick's and junior roast beef, had more of the sandwhich then stick's so DON"T order either of them just to be safe And have I mised someting about Mc D's? Last...

And we will know hopefully soon on hubby's results My middle son is now showing signs of DH So not sure wht my son's will do they don't want to go htrough wht thier brother did so my suggestion to them was stop eating the gluten and at least see if it clears up We will keep u gus posted . ty and good luck...

  17. Grats to u Paula, Glad to hear it is working for u We can't wait til our's is over and can go back to gluten-free once again... I know it is a great felling to not have to make pit stops in foriegn places or affraid to attend a family funtion due to the fatigue and back door visit's Hang in there u have my support . have a great Holiday weekend...

Hi I'am not to old here myself with the site... but we do have DH and if u do the gluten free diet faithfully even watch for cross contamination she should get the rash to subside , but have recently heard it can take up to 2 years for the rash to go completely in remision. It does go away in time after u have been on the diet (i know did the diet true...

I went to take hubby to the doc for him to get more testing done to see if he has celiac disease and showed the doc my feet and he says yeppers it is DH I told him that was all I needed to hear, so no more testing for me, I have my answer, but hubby has to continue for his job wants it in writing, so onward with the Gluten challenge now...
  20. Hi ravenwood, I to am a smoker and need more scoop on the brand u mentioned... I was told yesterday I have DH on my feet and react terrable when I consume "GLUTEN"... I need to kick the cig habit,but already have all the signs for "C" disease so afraid to quit til i can go gluten free so let me know about American Spirit cig's plz will be truely greatful...

Hi, My own opinion (u r just a super careing mom looking out for the best of her child) there was a small girl that lived next to us when I was a child ...she too couldn't gain any weight and was allergic to alot also, they had to give her goats milk so she could gain weight and she did. about u nursing: I would do it as long as she wants to and eat more...

  23. gotta add one my Aunt makes lol.... She takes 2 yogurts, 1cool whip , mix them together and put into ur gluten free crust (like made from the cinnamon crackers ) put into frig for 1 hour, then enjoy not for me tho I don't like yogurt
