  1. Oh My! That's just not right!! I don't care what you put in it, it makes me think it's going to taste like frozen green beans (and I hate green beans frozen or otherwise!) Now, I sound like my kids . . . I can tell by looking at it that I'm not going to like it! More power to you!
  2. Oh Richard!!! I've been wondering where you've been. You pop in briefly to read but not to post. I thought people at work must have noticed you mumbling and giggling at your computer and you had to cut back in order to avoid a talk with Human Resources.
  3. First real good chilly day here!! I'm freezing my arse off . . . I just can't seem to warm up! JoDog (what I call my dog) is annoying with constant whining - oh wait, that's me. JoDog is annoying with pacing back and forth between the window and door on the constant look out for squirrels. I need to go to the grocery and to Target but can't get...
  4. I buy the Kraft carmels, melt them and add milk. Works great here. That's how I finally got my kids to eat apples slices with the peel on them. I wouldn't peel them when we had the carmel dip and they wanted the dip so bad they were willing to eat them that way. Now they eat them that way all the time.
  5. Yes, French's fried onions have wheat. Also, I tried the Health Valley Cream of Chicken and thought it was nasty . . . don't know about the cream of mushroom but I would stick with the Progresso since it's mainstream.
  6. My husband's office has collected leftover (and whatever you can pry out of your children's hands) Halloween candy. They send it to Operation Gratitude. They've done this the last two years and it's a company of about 3000 employees so I would have hoped somebody checked to make sure it's legit. Open Original Shared Link And our cub scouts made arrangements...
  7. I have thought about doing this also . . . just to bring in a little extra. Don't forget yardsales. Sometimes people just want it out of their house and sell for a song. I also get some of the kids' toys and clothes at yardsales. That is getting harder though since they are getting older . . . not as many people sell their older kids' stuff. If you...
  8. I'm trying the no boil method next time. Last time (which was first time gluten-free) I precooked the noodles to the soft stage. I didn't mean to, I just got distracted. The taste was great, but as expected, the noodles fell apart.
  9. Where are you looking? It's not on the front of the package. It's at the bottome of the ingredient list but it is written in large print. (At least, that's where it is on the important items in my pantry . . . the au gratin potatos, chocolate chips, and gummy worms )
  10. Oh yes, Susie does that too . . . posts pics from 10 years ago!
  11. No, she's saying your apex is pointed!!
  12. If you ask her what she wants to be when she grows up, her answer is I want to play the electric piano in a rock-n-roll band. Perhaps she could play in the BSP . . . However, she's not allowed to say "ass", she has to substitute the workd "bottom" . . . Bad-bottom Snow Poodles? Previous answers have been a horse rider an artist a veternarian...
  13. Well, I know I needed the clarification. You know, I'm still a newbie.
  14. Helllloooooo Sarah!!! Now we've got a face to put with the name!! Apparently, based on the angle, my son took your photo!
  15. Likewise . . . I too have read every word and I too have no life . . . here I sit on a Tuesday night, should have gone to bed an hour ago, but I see Susie and Sarah online so I wait to see if they are going to post! (My stalker instincts have kicked in ) What?!? Act natural?!? Do any of us know how to do that? Gotta go to...
  16. Yes, we often let our 6 year old play with a lathe!!
  17. Just wanted to point out that immediate family members are never really in the clear. You can be diagnosed at any age and you should plan on regular screenings . . . unless you've already taken her gluten free. My kid's GI had this to say about bloodwork: Lots of kids have false negatives because the limits were established based on data from adult patients...
  18. Maybe he is actually participating!! Maybe he has a fake/second member ID so that he can participate in some of the threads!! Maybe Sarah isn't really Sarah . . . hmmm? Maybe Emily is Scott - she would have gotten some advice from her dad on how to play a different character - no wait, that's not right. If Emily is Scott, then Emily's dad wouldn't be...
  19. Ahhh, Peter!! I hope you can handle it! We females on this thread are a fearsome lot. The guys seem to be able to handle it for only short periods of time. Then they must retreat to catch their breath and gather their wits! Richard has been missing in action for several days now. Tom's been working on gathering his wits but apparently, he has packed...
  20. Why, she's measuring (fake) dinosaur bones, of course. If you could see the picture full size, you might be able to read the sign that says "dinosaur research". The paleontologist caption was suppose to be a hint. Not too much longer and you'll be in the 501 club. Here's a suggestion to boost your numbers, you wait for Tom to post (preferably on the OMG...
  21. Said out of context, it might not sound so good but one of my favorite phrases is Everybody wishes they were ME! (Said sarcastically/ironically to make fun of myself or current situation)
