    A positive blood test is pretty darn conclusive. False positives are rare (and frankly I haven't heard of any at this point but I never say never). The endoscopy can be hit or miss. Celiac is patchy and if they don't biopsy the right spot, they can miss it. My daughter's GI thinks it's just a matter of time (uhhh . . . that will probably actually be years...

    One of my favorite breakfasts . . . Whenever we have pancakes, I make a double batch and freeze the leftovers (wax paper in between). I think Van's also has some frozen gluten free pancakes if you don't want to make your own pancakes. I also have frozen (pre-cooked) link sausage-lots of brands are gluten free. I warm them both up in the microwave...

    When we go visiting . . . we give our host a grocery list prior to arrival . . . regular grocery store stuff, not the specialty items, with the name brands listed. We bring our own specialty stuff like the pasta or bread or brownies/cookies or pancake mix. If it's somebody that you don't feel comfortable asking them to have things on hand already, then...

    Celiac disease is NOT an allergy. It is an autoimmune disease. What may work for an allergy is not going to work for Celiac disease. I'm going to repeat myself . . . Celiac disease is NOT an allergy. This type of therapy would be dangerous for someone with Celiac Disease.

    I think in time your old cravings will be replaced with new cravings . . . you need to try a few things to replace your favourites. Think outside of the box here . . . not necessarily the gluten free version of what you were wanting. My daughter loved Panera Bread Cinnamon Crunch bagels. Her new thing - which evolved because she can't eat the panera bagels...

    I have also used the Flying Horse Brand . . . no problems . . . and totally agree with the finer grind which gives a better (less gritty) end product.

    That paper cup with the string thingy?? The horse is Fog . . . that's actually the neighbor's horse and the picture is from April or May. Tis a HUGE horse . . . but what a sweetheart!! She takes lessons on a little black pony named BlackJack . . . no pics of that yet.

    Ummm . . . yeah . . . that's what I was going to say . . . Guests have left . . . we too set fire to a bunch of cash blew up some fireworks . . . but nothing like our neighbors down the street. They put on a show . . . like for 20 minutes with a finale and everything . . . it is majorly big-time fireworks. We don't even feel the need to go see...
