    1-3 days?? really?? That may be for the stuff they do in-house. We've always been 10 days or so and it's always been sent out and then the results have to go to the doctor's office first.

    Well I haven't ever had a bad experience but that's because I don't do it . . . I wouldn't trust it, but that's my opinion Ummmm . . . I don't think you're crazy. You might look into a Sam's Club or a Costco. You can buy large bags of nuts for much much cheaper than the grocery store. Pretty sure they've got large bags of M&M's...

    We've got a "shared facility" also. The counter with the gluten toaster and his spot at the table is the only area that my son gets to use for the gluten stuff. The area by the gluten free toaster is only gluten-free stuff. The rest can be either, but it is used by me and I clean it. You might just have to get in the habit of always cleaning a counter...

    If it was anything, it was barley (I know I never saw wheat listed) . . . it might have been just a manufacturing/cc/shared-line type issue that the manufacturer was well aware of and didn't want to cause issues for anyone. I know that the Log Cabin Country Kitchen was always OK . . . but it wasn't always the easiet to find. I love pure maple syrup...

    Amanda!!! You should know by now that we don't scare easily!!! We've all got family stories we could share . . . some might be immediate family, some might be extended or in-laws or extended in-laws . We currently are not too bad right now in my family . . . but don't ever lend my brother money . . . every one of us learned the lesson, the hard way.
