  1. SuzieQ Drastic-but my hubbie decided to go raw-cold turkey. He's lost 60# in less than 2 months. I did it for the first few weeks with him and I lost 8, not too bad, but it's super hard! The kombucha is a fermented tea with some added puree or juice to mask the ass-like flavor. It smells like a septic tank. It's full of a billion bacteria, majah...
  2. Open Original Shared Link (guess I'll have to wait till I get home to see if that image worked...) edit--not the one I wanted, but it'll do
  3. I can't wait to get home and read all these posts so I can see all the pictures and check the clips-everything is blocked at work!! In the process of drinking a mango Kombucha tea--anyone else drink these? Is there a brand that tastes less like ass than others? This is the only one I can manage to choke down, the smell by itself is enough to make...
  4. I keep a little container with coconut oil in it. It works soooo well!
  5. planetsmilies.net But, I couldn't find any good Halloween ones, so I googled 'halloween smilies' and found the witch at Open Original Shared Link It was super simple to input these, click on the one you want and it gives you the address to use on forums!! Then cut and paste!
  6. Spent the weekend at my mommy's house so hubby could prep for his interview this week. She has a hot tub, it was amazing! She also has a VitaMix in which I am completely in love! I smoothified everything I ate the entire weekend She asked if I would like to have one, I said for sure but no way in hell I'm paying that much for a flippin blender--she...
  7. I'm sure you already know this, but you need a new toaster for the waffles and gluten-free toast
  8. Charles in Charge looks like he has quite the personality! So lucky to have found such loverly parental units!!
  9. This is our favorite: Open Original Shared Link I don't use the suggested flours, I use whatever I have on hand, most of the time I make my own blend. Sub the whole milk with water or a non-dairy moo. I make a few batches at a time and freeze the crusts.
  10. Wowza, I missed a bunch of knotty behavior yesterday!! I always look fwd to swearing outside the home since I cahn't dew it in front of the beh-beh's. Son loves to say "Mom Said Shitt!" As if when I say it it gives him an excuse to say it I fear, however, that I shawn't swear much online since my hubby may be govment cheese someday and I'd hate for...

  13. Do you have Celiac disease? Nerves, stress, trauma etc... can all be causes of a "nervous stomach" regardless of Celiac. With everything you're going through, I think that's a very possible explaination. Good luck to you and your husband. I'm sorry that you're having to go through this.
  14. I didn't know yo0u were preggers-Congratulations!!! I will get the shot. I am a healthcare worker, and although my 2 Celiac children are very healthy while on their diet, I will not take the chance of bringing something home to them. I've had multiple patients in the last week with KNOWN H1N1 and I'm sure many more who haven't been diagnosed yet. ...

Sleezen the Wiccan queen of mid-Atlantica, Use your Wiccan elements to help you with your smoking cessation: Air and Earth: Go outside, take some cleansing breaths and go for a nice walk or hike Fire and Water: Light a loverly candle and take a super hot bath with epsom salts to help you detox These, in turn, will elevate your Aether (spirit) and...
  17. When mine spread out too much, I decrease the fat, that helps keep the shape as well.
  18. I frequently use oil instead of butter. I start with a little lass oil than it calls for (butter) and add more if the dough/batter seems too dry. I don't usually use olive oil though because the taste is off. I made chocolate chip cookies last week with coconut oil and they were AMAZING!!
  19. I've been out of commision. Trying to force myself out of a cold, slicing open my fingers by being stupid, thank God for that Pumpkin Spice Latte yesterday to bring me back to life, I got soooo much accomplished yesterday! It's taken me a while to catch up..... Ours went out at the tail end of our massive snow storm last year, had no choice...

  21. We order only steamed chicken/beef and veggies with sticky rice. Not as much fun, but it's healthy too
  22. I had suggested this too, it didn't go over well. He was b%$@#ing like a little girl that I didn't love him We've been married for 11 years and together for 13, I could NEVER imagine being with anyone else (well, except Edward ) But I'm the type of person who needs a lot of space, he's the type that has to be around someone all the time. That scenario...
  23. We tried to get the history, the previous owner claimed no one had ever died in the house, my mom thought people would think she was crazy, so we never talked about it outside the house until the shenanigans got more frequent. The bedroom next to mine was always below 50 degrees. The house had no AC, and in the summers, it would easily get over 100 outside...
