ARCHIVED Zorjirushi Bread Machine QuestionWW340 posted a topic in Gluten-Free Recipes & Cooking Tips I sent my Zo in for repair because it has never browned properly. They have sent it back, saying it can not be fixed. They also won't replace it. The repairman said that it does work right on the dark crust setting. I can't figure out how to set the crust control to dark on the homemade custom settings. Does anyone know how to do that?

ARCHIVED Everyday Minerals - Great gluten-free Mineral Make-up!WW340 replied to Mango04's topic in Gluten-Free Foods, Products, Shopping & Medications Paula, so sorry you lost your diamond. I have been through that myself. Fortunately, I was able to find it both times. Once was in the trash, so sift through that very carefully. The other time I noticed it was gone just after it fell out of the setting at the dining room table. Don't give up. I am wishing you luck on finding it. We are supposed...

ARCHIVED Everyday Minerals - Great gluten-free Mineral Make-up!WW340 replied to Mango04's topic in Gluten-Free Foods, Products, Shopping & Medications Colleen, that really is a master piece. Great job, just too funny. You should post that on the EM forum. It is disappointing that the new colors won't be released with the website. Oh, well, that will be good for my credit card health.

ARCHIVED Everyday Minerals - Great gluten-free Mineral Make-up!WW340 replied to Mango04's topic in Gluten-Free Foods, Products, Shopping & Medications Your welcome Good job! Yes, Ivory is a little darker than Fair Neutral. I find a little Ivory with whatever foundations I am mixing up just adds a little something nice. I am not sure how to describe it.

ARCHIVED Everyday Minerals - Great gluten-free Mineral Make-up!WW340 replied to Mango04's topic in Gluten-Free Foods, Products, Shopping & Medications True, they are beginning to take us for granted lol. I have had the same problem. I am now using a combination technique of wetting my brush and smoothing with my finger, and I am really liking it better. Here are some suggestions made on the subject. ARCHIVED Ideas For Professional Bag In Which To Take Food To RestaurantWW340 replied to Missouri Farmer's topic in Coping with Celiac Disease I bought this in the navy blue with the all blue trays. I also bought the blue ice bags that fit in the top of the lunch box. This works very well for me, and looks more professional than anything else I could find. It is from laptop lunches. Going through the anger and depression is pretty normal. However, if this is extreme for you and is lasting very long, you might need to seek help from a professional. I got really depressed and upset a few months into the diet, but I finally sat down and made a list of the things I felt I was really missing. I then went on a mission to replace those...

ARCHIVED Everyday Minerals - Great gluten-free Mineral Make-up!WW340 replied to Mango04's topic in Gluten-Free Foods, Products, Shopping & Medications I hope your eye is better today. I just got it with my order. I am anxious to try it. Welcome to our mineral thread. I would have checked it out, but it requires registration first, so I will pass, but thank you anyway. I got my order last evening. I did get the special with it this time, thank goodness. I got a personal...

In this order: 1. Salt - no matter what I eat I have to add quite a bit of salt. I never did this until I went gluten free. This has not changed, while other cravings do change from time to time. 2. Eggs - specifically right now, I am on an omelet kick. 3. Peanut butter or peanuts.

ARCHIVED Everyday Minerals - Great gluten-free Mineral Make-up!WW340 replied to Mango04's topic in Gluten-Free Foods, Products, Shopping & Medications That doesn't sound too good. It sounds like you may be getting a stye.

ARCHIVED Everyday Minerals - Great gluten-free Mineral Make-up!WW340 replied to Mango04's topic in Gluten-Free Foods, Products, Shopping & Medications LOL, a girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do. I may have to get waffle cone, just in case. As a good cult member, you obviously made the right choice.

ARCHIVED Everyday Minerals - Great gluten-free Mineral Make-up!WW340 replied to Mango04's topic in Gluten-Free Foods, Products, Shopping & Medications I am glad I am not the only one. I ordered the natural blush, because so many people were raving about it on the EM board. I was really disappointed with it. It sure won't work as a blush for me. I agree about sparkles on the face - not for me. How about waffle cone? I think some on here have liked it. I have not ordered that yet. ...

ARCHIVED Everyday Minerals - Great gluten-free Mineral Make-up!WW340 replied to Mango04's topic in Gluten-Free Foods, Products, Shopping & Medications This does sound much better than shots. It is hard to do them regularly to yourself. Hope it works for you. That is encouraging about the new color. You are right Julie, we can't always judge by how it looks in the jar. I have a few I haven't tried yet, because I didn't like the looks of it. I guess I ought to give them a shot. Did...

Log Cabin Country Kitchen is gluten free, but not all log cabin syrups are, so you have to make sure it is the Country Kitchen. I agree with the pure maple syrup. I use it most of the time, but have used the log cabin also.

ARCHIVED Everyday Minerals - Great gluten-free Mineral Make-up!WW340 replied to Mango04's topic in Gluten-Free Foods, Products, Shopping & Medications Thank you Julie. I am actually feeling almost human today. Your eyes look so pretty Jestgar. So sorry, I know that is disappointing. I hope you get something you like in its place. BTW, my GI just gave me a prescription for a B12 nasal spray. He says it works as well as the shots and I only have to use it once...

ARCHIVED Avid Gardener Wondering Is There Anything To Watch For Gardening With Gluten?WW340 replied to toomuchagony's topic in Coping with Celiac Disease Hello fellow gardeners. I am zone 6, NW arkansas. This is the first year in about 3 years that I felt well enough to garden. I just cleaned out and filled the raised veggie beds 2 weeks ago. I usually start my heirloom tomato plants from seeds, but did not do that this year. I will just have to buy some locally. Shingles have temporarily interrupted...

ARCHIVED Are Mary's Gone Crackers Ok For The Recovering Intestine?WW340 replied to nikki2008's topic in Gluten-Free Foods, Products, Shopping & Medications I love those crackers. I order by the case online. I was able to tolerate them from pretty early on. I was probably a couple of months into gluten free before I found them. I carry them in my car and keep some at the office. Those and some cheese have been a good easy snack or lunch for me.

ARCHIVED Everyday Minerals - Great gluten-free Mineral Make-up!WW340 replied to Mango04's topic in Gluten-Free Foods, Products, Shopping & Medications One thing always leads to another, lol, I see another new train case in your future. No problem. Unfortunately I had the pain for over a week before the rash started, so we didn't know it was shingles until I broke out. They tell me that is a bad sign. I started the valtrex Saturday, but not calming down the pain any. The doctor called in a...

ARCHIVED Calling All You Pizza MakersWW340 replied to MyMississippi's topic in Gluten-Free Recipes & Cooking Tips Pizza was a frequent favorite at our house, so I really worked at a replacement for us. Initially we used the kinnickinnick premade crusts. They were ok for quick and easy, but not truly a good pizza. I then started using the mixes, chebe is really pretty good and easy. I don't like the spices in the crust, so I made it from the plain mix. Namaste...

ARCHIVED Everyday Minerals - Great gluten-free Mineral Make-up!WW340 replied to Mango04's topic in Gluten-Free Foods, Products, Shopping & Medications Thank you all so much. I hope the meds kick it soon, but from what I understand it is likely to last a while. Yes, EM seems all talk and no action these days, except to take away some favorites like chit chat. As for how they treat the shingles, they gave me high dose valtrex and lyrica. I am allergic to narcotics, or they would have given...

ARCHIVED Everyday Minerals - Great gluten-free Mineral Make-up!WW340 replied to Mango04's topic in Gluten-Free Foods, Products, Shopping & Medications It showed in my cart when I ordered it, and I was charged the discounted price, but I never got the special. Now my order shows the regular price, but that is not the price I was charged on paypal. Weird. I agree with that. I think it is very misleading, especially since they so frequently just extend the current special. I think...
