  1. I only do MacDonalds fries and I trust them, especially if they have good health inspection grade. Professor, have fun in Manhattan! I love being there. There are so many places to eat and get goodies. Mmm, my mouth waters thinking back to my last visit there!
  2. Thank you for the story, Stef!
  3. I was thinking about that bill today. At leats this way if we see something listeing wheat we know to not buy and eat it. If it doesn't say we can call. It should make it somewhat easier!
  4. I like MacDonalds' french fries.
  5. If you have a support group or contact one in a different area they can help get you in contact with the nationwide thing and they (or so I was told) can give you numbers of support group leaders in Europe or where ever and they can help you.
  6. A lot of places have gluten-free hashbrowns. MacDonalds fries are fine to eat. I always check to make sure they have dedicated fryers though, just in case!
  7. I wouldn't have eaten that burger, sfortney. That is crazy that she was so rude. You should gone in and spoken to the manager. Drive-through service shouldn't be less than face-to-face service.
  8. Thank you, red345. I will try to anser the survey later or in a few days when and if I can.
  9. 1. How is it possible for me to all of a sudden be Gluten intolerant I am 30 years old? Sometimes people don't have obvious reactions and the they get them. Also, symptoms may go away, however, damage is still being done. 2. SHould I have my four month old baby check for this disease? Yes, you should but ask your doctor at which age to test. Your close...
  10. Red345, I think you should post your answers, too.
  11. I thought I should add in something, my Mother and I are both lactose intolerant but react very different to cetain things. She can drink milk anytime without a problem but has issues with cheese and choclate candy. I can't drink any cows milk at all but can eat choclate candies and some cheeses. We both use lactiad. Your daughter may be like my Mom...
  12. Tarnalberry, I wasn't think about real dark chocolate! Hahaha, very cool.
  13. I do not agree with that study by the reaon for it happening and how they select people to participate. From everything I researched before it is that being breastfed can push back the onset of symptoms, and that's it.
  14. How is any chocolate, even dark, lactose free?
  15. Tarnalberry is very right. Just try the diet 100% and you may feel great. It's not that hard to follow and there are some yummie things!
  16. I have actually forgotten what the food I used to eat tastes like. I only remember a few things and that's usually after I smell them. Pizza Hut bread sticks and Little Caesar's bread sticks, too. Monkey bread is something I also miss.
  17. My brother and Mothers joy eating food from there.
  18. You're right about the jams and stuff. I make thinks with a "K" that are mine and everyone knows to avoid them. Water bottles, sauces, jams, and mustards.
  19. The things I use from GNC have worked just as well as those I bought in the organic section of my health food store. Plus it's a lot closer to my house.
  20. In my house I was the only Celiac for a year until my mother and brother were diagnosed. Now there are 3 out of 4 of us. I always had my own toaster and now we have a gluten-free toaster oven! I never use the same sponges/rags as anyone else. I get new ones out each time. I always make sure all pots and pans are in the dishwasher unless it's one of my...
  21. I just bring food with me. . .pre-toasted gluten-free bagels, fruit, water, and things I like. Then go shopping at a health foodstore when I get to the end place. I usually make sure I find one and call ahead to see if they have what I need.
  22. I am still suffering from that anxiety. I went to therapy and started anti-anxiety medication after my dignosis. It really helps a lot!
  23. I have never had problems with people lying about products or at specifically gluten-free restaurants. It really is best to ask them because they may nt get everything from the US. Ask to speak to someone who knows about this stuff. Most companies have people in charge of knowing these things.
  24. If you go to GNC and ask for help they can show you the glutenfree ones.
  25. Acidy stuff burns my tounge up! Here is the Frito-Lays list: Open Original Shared Link However, they do say: "*The above products do not contain gluten nor casein; however, they are produced on the same line as our products that do contain gluten and casein. Although the lines are washed between batches, a slight residue may remain on the lines...
