  1. I am sorry that you where glutend. When I have been glutend it takes a few hours to set in. I always feel bad insiting on reading the lables , esp since ppl are just trying to be nice, but can't be too careful. Hope you feel better soon.
  2. I am sick of hidden gluten too! but I agree with everything being said about the new law. I feel it may complicate things more! There needs to be a way of marking things ... so we know as consumers what we are eating. I feel that with the new law the corperations will always be trying to cover their behinds and confuse us even more.

  6. I am not training for a marathon right now. However, I excercise and weight train. My DH is a strenght coach for football. I have been gluten-free for a few mths now. My DD has bloating, cramps, D along with contipation (sooooooooo many pooping issues), skin rashes (they NEVER know what causes it, all these come and go... have a hard time pinpointing foods. BUT I can say this since I have been cooking gluten-free she is sooooo much better. So IgG delayed testing is what I should...
  8. Its hard to really tell, "normal" preg things ,can be masking other non preg things. BUT it is a very common thing to get when you are preg esp with each preg things are more intence. I had the same thing when preg with both my kids ... however I had it before too but more mild to moderate. And this was pre celiac diag. Heat would always help me ... I would...
  9. Thank you, my DH and I are STRONGLY thinking about 100% gluten-free for our DD. I am also going to have my DH tested for celiacs since he has a family history too.
  10. See she also had the food allery test done and did not show any allergies but it did show she had a high allergen level/ count?

  15. I have celiacs. Runs in my Family. My DD just turned 3 has had many symptoms. Ped sent us to see a GI doc they ran the full pannel...they said came back negitive. However she had a elevated allergen count? Not sure what that means. Anway, was at the Doc with her today for her 3year check-up. DD is on a Gluten light diet because I find it easier to cook gluten...

  17. mine did too. I have noticed that many of my B&BW stuff had oats in it ...which would be contaminated with wheat , for me it trigers skin problems. Like the red bumbs. So I would check for oats
  18. I have celiacs , been gluten-free since this summer- diag a mth ago with DH. I have a 3 year old (DD) and a 10mth old(DS). We were having trouble getting and staying...
  19. My DD is allergic to ALL cillins and mycins too! Last winter we had two horrific reactions to them. That ended her up in the er a few times. And caused all sorts of (for a few mths) side effects esp after the 2nd reaction. My pharm said they are like "kissing cousins." so, it makes since to be allergic to them all.
