  1. Kamma, should we assume that all those "greater than" symbols (>) were actually intended to be "less that" symbols (<)?
  2. The OP has been a member for over four years, but is still eating gluten on a regular basis. There is a problem, but I don't see it being in the people responding. The OP asked a question, and got answers that were honest, even if they weren't what they wanted. UnhappyCoeliac needs to stop eating gluten. Now. Forever. Period. Too bad if that wasn't what they...
  3. We appear to have an interest in common, Bear!
  4. Oh, yeah. Celiac disease is controversial--my ass. Well, maybe the wheat industry and other interest groups want it to be. There is no offer of a better explanation of villous atrophy while eating wheat, that heals on a gluten-free diet. All encompassing IBS. Doh. It is Bull Shit. Or maybe, the doc thinks, I've Been Stumped. Done grouching for...
  5. The manufacturer is in a position to KNOW whether the product is gluten-free. The rest of us can only speculate, which is rather pointless.
  6. How many of us are recovering from a massive gluten-free meal yesterday.
  7. Um, I don't want to worry anyone, but there are two board members (both of whom have posted here) that are closing in on 6,000 total posts.
  8. Dejibo, I think that people here are truly trying to support you. They are just flabbergasted by the inconsistencies in what your various doctors are telling you. Perhaps there are too many cooks to make a soup. You don't want to stand up to a doctor--maybe you have been there and have beaten down. Many have. I am going to suggest a concept I learned...
  9. Red wine is always fine, too.
  10. Bring it on! Harumph!
  11. I'm not sure which "fact" to start with, but here goes. Okay, that one is a given. A general assumption about everyone's diet. Valid for some people, not for everybody. I guess nobody replaces their breakfast toast with an apple or a banana. Again, valid for some people, not for everybody. Another assumption. Bread is not the only source...
  12. You are entitled to your opinion. I do not share it. I am not alone.
  13. Dr. Vikki Petersen is not what I would call a credible source. She certainly has an agenda she is pursuing. When I have problems with my digestion, I *ALWAYS* consult with a chiropractor--Not!
  14. I've heard lots of things, too. I've heard that JFK was assassinated by LBJ to gain access to the White House. I've heard that Kraft Foods put gluten in everything they make, and then lie about it. I've heard that Sarah Palin is sane. I've heard ain't worth nuthin, unless you have a credible source to back it up.
  15. Well, how about that. Mustard is not a source of gluten, but their "Pure" Dry Mustard may contain gluten. I guess it isn't pure after all. I wonder what other misrepresentations are in that message.
  16. Well, was there? In adequate quantity? Inquiring minds want to know.
  17. Oh, my! Raven, you're saying it isn't WHEN we eat, it is WHAT we eat! Who knew?
  18. Most versions of Windows include an accessory app called "Paint" that can do this. Follow the start menu to All Programs, then Accessories.
