  1. Yes, I'm looking fwd to the description & subsequent palmbruise-reading. What will it meaaaaaaaaan???? A blast from the past for Em, Gus & Elsie [The whole list is worth a read btw] Eh?? Skipping the 1900s???
  2. Oh mahgaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhh<*snort*> This post SO perfectly caps off the one-zie two-zie. .... x1500 (the # of posts in a pagecentury) [Who was it that, w/ downright *eery* accuracy, predicted the deposed's comment?]
  3. If you have celiac disease, the question's moot. Same for many who call themselves gluten-intolerant. There is no safe amount. I'm nearly certain that the farro caused your pain today. BTW, I noticed that that article is from June 1997. SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much more is known now about gluten-free & celiac disease. There's a good chance that the...
  4. I don't know why this would be so. Others write the same types of things I write. I see others quote me, agreeing w/ me, and you quote them and thank them. I'll stop trying to help. Good luck.
  5. I spent a few years in the 90s thinking a little was ok if I had no symptoms or easily manageable ones. It ended up costing me 7-8yrs of my life. Some CC may be unavoidable, but it'd be a (potentially huge) mistake to do what I did.
  6. Ehhhhhhhhhhhh Barrett's isn't generally called pre-cancerous. The phrase "carries increased risk" is used, but having a car carries increased risk of decapitation in a highway accident. Doesn't make car ownership "pre-decapitative".
  7. Don't go thinkin' I didn't see this post pre-edit!!!!!!! I thought "hehe CurlyQueeny wasn't here in my good old days"
  8. The other thread w/ tapioca called bad didn't mean bad for all celiacs, just for them. There are so many ingredients in the products you ate it'd be difficult or impossible to narrow down what's the problem. Eating more simply & keeping a food/symptom diary makes it easier to find out what foods cause what. If you're newly gluten-free, it's usually...
  9. I'm actually still considering popping into work for an hr or 2 Can't tomorrow afternoon - big NFL day where the winners go to the Super Bowl!!! Woohoo

  12. Hehehe well do ya want laminate royalty thrust upon you or not???? [Edit: 3rd post from here is Queen?]
  13. I think I got Bev'd on the "thrusting royalty / laminate-listee playing for Kings" bit. Felt clever at the time. .. .. Saw a little DL Hughley too. Strange as it is for a comedian to have a CNN show, it just might work!
  14. I bought cheese twice today!!!!! Trying 2 types of goat feta yum
  15. But who ELSE hasn't had royalty thrust upon them, Jewely? (Hehe did Fisher ever play for the Kings?)
  16. And one of my idiot Wildcats, w/ a mere one POINT two seconds left in a tie game, made a STOOOOOOOOOPID foul near halfcourt. USC guy made 1 of 2. We lose by one.
  17. Yeah!! ROFL the Tostito wink!!!!
  18. I'd thought laminate list as a joke but while typing it realized it was probably true!!
  19. I'm sure that's how I first tried pesto. I think at this great tiny open-after-hrs place in Santa Cruz, across the street from the bar all bars should aspire to be, The Catalyst. Sadly that pizza place was one of just 3 bldgs in Santa Cruz (closest city to the epicentRe) to crumble in the Loma Prieta quake of '89. But maybe 1st pesto pizza was in...
