    Bah it's been gone so long . .... . .. ..might be inching back now that I've decided to go back to only the same damn basic boring few foods that are safest. Wanted to try dried spices again, went w/ cumin & just a wee taste made me dizzy for 30min. Spent some time caught in the stupid trap of "well it's not like I'll feel good tomorrow anyway...

    I've heard only good things about coconut milk ice cream & many ppl who aren't good w/ cow's milk cheese are fine w/ goat cheese. It's a different, smaller casein (milk protein) molecule. I eat goat cheese but miss the variety of regular. Wish the goat mozzarella I got in Phx was available in the Bay Area.

    Did you talk to the manager about it? I think you should, for all sorts of reasons. Maybe the kitchen is doing something fundamentally wrong, which he/she is unaware of, and half the time any celiac eats there they get sick & don't go back.     I had tons of problems until also dairy-free & soy-free. Have you tried that? I see people say to try going w/out for a few days to check but that fooled me a few times. It wasn't until soy-free for 2 full wks that I became convinced.

    Hehe No other state has anything as handy as the mitten!! 'Course, the yupers get left out. I spent weeks every summer at a cottage on Lake Mich, betw Arcadia & Frankfort. Great MI memories fo' me. Me mum's side of the family all in MI.

    For groceries there's the usual WhFds, Tjoe's but also 2 other non-major chains - Sprouts & Sunflower. Multiple locations for all. What part of Phx are you heading to?
