  1. Hmmm Gian-knit, methinks if ya use wackl in a library, you're obliged to scribble it into the giant dictionary-on-a-stand. Maybe ya did it already and it's too goes-without-saying to mention?? Happy Queen Mum's Day Gnicherlur, in the waning of yer reigning. Heehee Smackl's hair looks like it belongs on a head twice his size.
  2. Amandehr, glad your uncle's doing better. And how 'bout sillyville sending not only prayers & positive thoughts to Houston, there's an angel on the way! It was already 91F in Phx a couple days ago Just plain nice here, as usual. Was there another game already?? GO WILDCATS!!! did he make it blow bubbles?? ...

  5. The thread title is "Could Sensitivity Be Directly Related To Diet Compliance?" w/ the post revealing the theory that the sensitivity could be a result of the strict compliance. Isn't it the other way around? Doesn't the high sensitivity preclude & prompt the strict compliance?
  6. I know I may regret this, but here goes. I'm pretty sure it's not. None of the resources grepped cited here use mcg, tho a few specify ug. Open Original Shared Link I do believe I've seen mcg used for microgram in literature specifically regarding vitamins and/or minerals, but they're writing for a certain audience. Everybody...
  7. This group has the info you want. Open Original Shared Link There's even a link to a googlemap some of them created which shows gluten-free restaurants in the area. Open Original Shared Link I don't get up to SF much anymore, but if I did I bet Zadin would be my fav restaurant. Bet you'll have a great time in SF!
  8. Micrograms?? I'm sure you mean milligrams, which, of course is abbrev mg. Micrograms are abbrev as ug, in lieu of a greek alphabet typewriter w/ a lower-case Mu.
  9. My increasingly frequent bouts w/ vertigo (ugh hated that) & nearly constant ataxia DISAPPEARED for good w/ in a week or 2 gluten-free. (Also all the usual gastro symptoms & other neurological, physical & mental symptoms) How can you NOT try it???? Good luck
  10. That 1st season sure had a lot of those .. . ..but usually ppl abbrev it as DHW (Glad Tel's bettah ) Hehehe
  11. Hey sillies .. . .. .wish I'd been more LOL-able lately. ... . . .I wish a lotta things . . .. . Li'l sumpin in the local paper: Open Original Shared Link PermaLent hehe I'm so *&%$#$% tired of eating. Hope everyone & their loved ones are getting or will soon get better from the various maladies.
  12. Hi Samantha, I don't think we can cram for the blood test. I've read of Drs saying everything from a few weeks to several months of daily gluten. I might guess that w/ 2yrs of symptoms, your couple wks gluten-free might not be long enough for the antibodies to be gone. BTW I had an endoscopy last month & it was a breeze. And the doc can check...
  13. Happy Happy BDAY P
  14. what generation do ya think I AM??
  15. Pretty well!! Except soy, sweeteners, vinegar. Try a non-casein CF & a PF!! . . . Annnnnd . .. hmmm LF? BF?
  16. nah . ...too many things besides gluten that I can't have. GFCFSFSFSFTFVFYF etc etc - I just call it alphabet-free. Have you?
  17. The gravitational reference makes me wonder just how snug y'all think non-boxers ARE!?? The bolded NO was in response to the purported unanimity of the North Pole, Mrs. Claus. (Maybe Em has the gall to Gallup to the mall for a North Poll?) It's possible I'm mistaken, but I believe a high majority can provide a literal answer to the query...
  18. Ahhhh Fluid Dynamics . .. . I remember that as a course that sent some would-be engineers back to the catalogue to choose some Bachelor of Arts major
  19. Hey woohoo things got pretty mathtastic yesterday!! (I think both of those banks suck btw) Hi Zella & Welcome! (Yay for another in the Bay Area tho Solano's almost opposite from the South Bay)
  20. A little late w/ this but, with apologies to anyone packing a compass needle, I'm compelled to try to straighten this out. Can't have me sillies going through the rest of their silly lives w/ such a misconception. . .. . .. no Omg NO Maybe a higher % when in spa. . .. spa ... (I think we prefer the term "compression shorts"...

(Learnt that last year ) I'm at work & should be configuring six 8MB txt files of datalogs into a 9-tabbed 45,000+ lines/tab .. . .. ....
  22. Oooooo!!! Congrats gnu Queen Gnich the dishwasherless "you're soaking in it"!!!! This has me imagining teensy butterfly jockeys! Butterfly wranglers? Buckeroos? Vaqueros?
  23. Yikes I wish that were true. That'd make things a lot easier. The currently recognized (in the U.S. - it's different in Europe, I hear) 2 genes for celiac (HLA DQ2 & 8) are in 30% of the population, yet just over 1% develop celiac disease. Although researchers have been scratching for a while, they've barely scratched the surface of Celiac genetics...
  24. Hey Sillies . .. ...not all caught up but had to relate how stupid I've been. Like everyone, I've read dozens of times about replacing pans etc. When I first read it, so long ago, there was no problem as I didn't cook much before gluten-free and had gotten all new pans. <ok duh where's the problem> But when I moved in w/ John last year, he had...
