Since you're in college there are lots of gluten free instant rice noodles. The Thai ones are good, just add hot water. I like to add some peanut butter to them to, to make them creamier. There, dorm food and its vegetarian. Taste of Thai, says gluten free on the box. Once you start looking there is lots of easy quick to prepare stuff, canned soups...I started... -
Another good way to get a Sjogren's diagnosis is a simple lip biopsy (its a teeny biopsy, almost painless). Pancreatitis, spincter of oddi problems, celiac have been linked for years...for example... Makes sense. Inflamation in the small intestine, the oddi thingy is right there in the small intestine If you search on those terms a bunch of stuff comes up.

If you had the exact same pain with mono have you checked to see if the lymph nodes in your abdomen or groin are swollen? If you have an infection they can be, and this can cause pain when you move around a lot. I did not even know we had lymph nodes down there till I had to have one removed I hope your SBO resolves. Celiac disease has been linked to Spincter of Oddi dysfunction (its a little valve type thing in the small intestine, where the bile and digestive enzymes enter the intestine from the liver and pancreas) which can cause all kinds of weird pain-back, abdomen, shoulder. I thought I was having a heart attack, it made my left shoulder hurt so bad.
