  1. I know it can be VERY frustrating. But I am on a Gluten, Dairy and Soy free diet and feeling great FINALLY!! I was egg free for about 4 months and just recently started eating a few here and there with no problems. It might sound overwhelming, but a gluten-free, DF, SF and EF diet can be quite healthy and you may find that after a few months or...
  2. I have cautiously been eating a tiny amount of red pepper/cayenne here and there with no problems so far. But I had cut them out for a very long time. I dont plan on overdoing it. Not making spaghetti sauce anytime soon.
  3. Glad to hear you are safe albeit "not flushing". We went through that for a spell. Bathroom consisted of a roll of toilet paper and a shovel. Luckily we have a very big and private back yard.
  4. Sorry about your face. But glad to hear you have had some improvement on the bloating. Maybe if enough people have success with Neem for bloating......we are on to something!! I moved on to GSE for now. I am going to rotate by "killers"........6 week cycles I figure.
  5. IgE is the antibody that is related to anaphalactic, wheezing, excema and the like. Right now you are "tolerating" it, but you can bet there is a cut off point. And with this type of allergy antibody, there is no way of knowing what that cut off is (2 tlb, 3 tlb of PB?) OR if your body will decide one day "enough is enough"!! And one peanut sends you to...
  6. Ultimately, I ended up with the "big strong guy" who also happens to be a geek (Historian).......LOL
  7. I did this but subbed out using almond flour. Turkey meatloaf with almond flour. It turned out great!
  8. Low thyroid and low iron both can cause neurological symptoms. You need to find a doctor who understands how to treat low thyroid and isnt afraid to try different meds until you find the right one(s) for you. A Osteopath or MD that leans toward holistic is best. And you will need to get that iron up for the thyroid meds to work effectively. You are...
  9. Ive had NO problems with their products. I love the coconut ice cream for a special treat now and again.
  10. If you Google there is information that is spotty on a term called "systemic celiac". It just means that more organs/tissues/areas of the body are affected. With the typical being gastrointestinal. That is all I could find.
  11. I am not eating any grains right now, nightshades or sugar. I eat sweet potatoes, acorn squash, spaghetti squash, butternut squash when I want carbs. Oh and plantains (baked). I also eat fruit. I do not feel deprived in anyway and in fact have ZERO interest in grains right now. Dont crave. Dont want.
  12. Thankfully garlic is not!!
  13. This is discussed often. I tried to find you a good thread to read: Open Original Shared Link I personally opted for 100% gluten-free kitchen and home so there could at least be one place on the planet where I could feel completely safe and comfortable.
  14. I always liked being short. Basketball didnt interest me. But I learned pretty early on that the tall guys liked us short/petite girls just fine. I'm attracted to tall men because I like feeling smaller than my guy. It feels more secure/safe/natural to me. I tried dating guys close to my height and I always felt "bigger" than them (even though I wasnt...
  15. Oh the Hemp milk is yummy. I use Living Harvest. I dont drink coffee, but this looks good: Spice Hempuccino
  16. Maybe God knew what he was doing cuz I have vertigo as a symptom....those big feet come in handy. Hubby jokes that they are big to balance my big boobies.
  17. So glad you figured it out!! I too use Dove for my hair and A&H sensitive for the laundry with NO problems.
  18. It wont "throw off" the results, it will tell them how well she is sticking to the diet. You want that number to come WAY DOWN. I am afraid you will likely have to "brown bag" it everyday. There are many threads in here with parents "trying" to let their children eat at school. It just never works. The risk for CC is too great in that hectic environment...
  19. I was satisfied with Enterolab as well. But I did a Celiac panel thru Labcorp too.
  20. Agave raises my blood sugar just like anything else. If you have a glucometer, try it yourself. Make muffins with honey and test 1 hour after eating. Then on another day, make the same exact muffins with Agave and test after an hour of eating. I get the same results. So much for "slower release"...... And I do believe it would lead to liver issues...
  21. Raven...you took the words right out of my mouth. Reading down and going to type that not everyone is triggered during the "growth years". But just for science: I am 5'3, my sister is 5'4 and my Mom is 5'6. My Dad was 5'10. I wear a size 9 shoe on my 5'3 frame, so I believe I should have been taller.
  22. You are giving good general advice Fiddle-Faddle. Those buckwheat flakes and soy products likely did you no favors.
  23. Rachel makes a very strong argument for individuality which I agree with. It often takes a lot of trial and error (whether you go it alone or with a doctor's care) to find out what the ROOT issue is. But it can be done and there is always hope. My biggest trigger to poor health is/has always been emotional. My worst health issues started with the birth...
  24. Oh the binge....so sorry you are feeling so poorly. I cautioned to go slowly with the Neem. The good news is you can cut back at ANYTIME. Why not give your body a break with the battle and cut back on the capsules?? It will still work, but just take a little longer and you wont have as much die-off.....
  25. I use it mostly in baking and sometimes I throw a dollop in a smoothie. I personally prefer olive oil or sesame for stir-frys. But that is just me. It works great for them, I just like the taste of the other oils over Coconut. Coconut isnt bad, just different. I use it in Thai dishes......yummy!
