  1. I found this bean flour bread but it has yeast and xanthan gum but not the rest. Maybe you can come up with a sub or will be able to tolerate it later. Open Original Shared Link cinnamon-raisin-nut-bread substitute for yeast (this was on another web site too): recipezaar#51462

  12. Juliebove, I feel bad that you have so many difficult allergies to find subs for. Can you use hazelnut, oat or potato milk? My grandma used to make the gravy with the boiled potato water. I remember her saying that it gives the gravy a good flavor. You could use potato water (get it as thick as you like it)or some potato flakes I bet, for any creamed...
  13. Hey I just bumped into that in the back of a Carol Fenster book. Here is what she says: Kudzu(kuzu) Powder (1 1/2 tsp.) Dissolve in cold water before using. Odorless, tasteless. Makes transparent, smooth sauces with soft consistency. Uses: Puddings, pie fillings and gelled preparations. May need to experiment to find exact amount to use. She lists...

  17. Butter? I thought that was dairy , that doesn't make sense so be careful. I would sub it for awhile until you get better. I love to pop popcorn in coconut oil and if you use enuff you don't need any butter on it. Good for baking too from what I hear but I haven't tried it yet. I use it to fry onions and such all the time. Its a healthy fat.

Open Original Shared Link Karina uses it as a sub for dairy in many recipes, it thickens like a dream and she uses Living Harvest Brand. I have never heard of that brand before but I want it try it for smoothies.
