  5. Thanks these are great ideas. I am trying to figure out how to make everything fit in one bag. My wallet and all that stuff so I only have to carry one thing around.
  6. I am going to a women's conference this weekend with my church and I need to bring my own lunch for both days. The church is getting the box lunch but of course I can't eat it so I had to get permission from the conference to bring in my own food. I can only bring it in in a big bag so I have no way of keeping any thing cold. So the standard nuts and stuff...

  9. I don't know if you can tolarate goat cheese. I know some people who can't have dairy can have it and I am one of those. I have found a hard goat cheese that is just like regular cheese and melts nicley. It does have a little differnt taste but I like it. I had a pizza for the first time in a long time the other night and it was really good.
  10. I am only going to be there two days not sure where I am going to be staying yet, so anywhere around town would be fine.

  13. I use both San-J and Braggs, Braggs is a little less salty to me. San-J has other gluten free sauces, like peanut and a sweet and tangy both are real good.
  14. SickBoy, I don't know if you can get it out there but if you can Udi is the best bread out there (IMHO) and I believe that a lot of other posters on here will agree with me. It is the closest I have found to real bread. You do not have to keep in the freezer, you don't have to toast it to eat it, you can have a piece with just butter on it if you want and...
  15. This may sound a little strange but I just recently found that I enjoy a cup of hot water with about 2 table spoons of honey and a tsp of cinammon(sp). or more whatever your taste is. It is both smoothing and uplifting at the same time.
  16. I am looking for a cereal-fiber bar, something I can grab and go. I have tried just about everthing out there, Larabars, Glutino, Enjoy Life, you name it I think I have tried it. I have even tried the meal replacement bars but that is not what I am looking for too many calories. Most of the bars I have tried I really don't like the taste of either or the...
  17. I hate potlucks. I was at a ladies bible study half the ladies were suppose to bring an egg dish and the other half a side dish or dessert. No gluten is hard enough but add no dairy it is worse. I know there are many people on here that have many other food issues then this but it sucks. Every egg dish had milk and cheese in it and the other dishes I could...
  18. This sounds yummy. I can not have dairy so I am wondering what I can use in place of the mascarponce cheese. There is a replacement for the cream cheese.
  19. I found a recipe for a homemade Nutri-Grain Bar. I use a yellow cake mix. Now we all now that the normal cake mixes are bigger then the gluten free cake mixes, most are 18oz and most gluten free cakes mixes or what half that. So my question should I just cut the recipe in half. 1 pkt yellow cake mix
  20. I am not sure what anybody else thinks on this one but I would of bought two toasters. You are still putting yourself at risk for CC with the slots that close. I bought myself a little $8 toaster and it works great just for me. I guess with crumbs I am pariond just ask my son and husband lol.

  24. I made some BRM and threw in some Nestles ChocoChips and didn't have a problem but everybody is different. I would not of been able to do the cream cheese and like someone else said it could of been something else in the mix.
  25. I got this recipe out of Cooking with Coconut Flour cookbook. I haven't tried it yet but the instructions do say to handle with care because the dough does break.
