  1. I can so totally relate to craving what we can't have. I WANT CHOCHALTE CAKE. I know I can make a gluten free one but it is just not the same is it. I want a peanut butter and jelly sandwihich on nice soft bread now those I really crave, they are my comfort food and I can't have them now. I will live and I will live better now I know but I still want one...
  2. I can eat black olives without any problem, but the other day I ate just a plain old green olive and I wanted to curl up in a little ball and die. My stomach burn so bad never again. I can eat relish and I can have things with vinger in them, apple cider, distilled, balsamic they all seem to be ok for me. I have not tried to eat just a plain pickel...

  4. I am looking for an easy homemade brownie recipe. I have tried a few mixes and I like Pamelas the best. They are chewy and fudge, yummy to me. I will try General Mills when it comes out, but I am really looking for a homemade one that is not cake like but soft and chewy. I have been gluten free for a little over a year now and just this mothers day my family took me out, I picked the place to eat that I knew I could get a safe omellet and hash browns and everybody else would be happy.   6. My husband brought one home for my yesterday and I did enjoy it. My problem with Statbucks is with their new Soymilk, does anybody else have there mochas with soy and have a problem. I usually have a decafe mocha with soy and ever since they have changed the soymilk it make me sick.
  7. My nails don't split or crack but they do grow funny, with dips in them as they grow out or the nail grows flat. I find the very strange, I use to be able to grow my nails and the look pertty but not anymore.

  12. I can totally relate to replaceing your "trigger food" with non gluten "trigger foods". I find myself doing that still and I have been at this for a year now. I will make a big pan of gluten free browines and my son with eat some but I will eat most of them or cookies or what ever the sweet of the day is.   15. I am so with you on this. I don't know when the last time was I had a croissant roll was, Oh yeah over a year or more. How about gluten free shredded wheat. Haha never happen. Loved that ceral.

  17. I would have to agree with everybody and stop the dairy products. I had to about 4 months after going gluten free, funny thing is only thing I can eat is yougurt and at times it is the only thing that will calm my stomach that and peanut butter.   19. Thank you all so much for your help. As I have found out cooking dairy free and gluten free is a trail and error but it a has been fun for the most part. I just have to remember to laugh and not get upset when things don't work out.

This is what I tried. 8 oz Toufutti Better the Cream Cheese 1/2c Earth Balance Butter repalcement Vanilla Powdered Sugar I think because of the water content in both the cream cheese sub and the earth balance the sugar dissovled.
