    I do suggest trying to find Only Oats. All of there products are soooo good. I dont eat the oatmeal since i never liked it but anything made from the Oats taste delicious! Good enough thata even my parents bought some mixes for themselves. ~ Lisa ~

    Yes, we do get that show on our version of CMT. It really sucked when George Canyon was on it (who's obviously a canadian) because we couldnt vote for him! But its a good one, I love how they can play their instruments and write their own songs ~ Lisa ~

    I'll be cheering for any country singer . I really wish you guys would get Canadian Idol. In a way it isn't fair....we get every single show of yours and obviously can't vote, but nobody even knows about our Canadian Idol most of the time. ITs not like the schedules would cut in with American Idol -- Canadian starts after American finishes!!! ...

    Hey guys. I had my usual asthma checkup yesterday and it was very interesting. Always have to do the basic breathing tests and apparently my asthma has gotten worse. My level was at 4.0, now only 2.7!! (don't ask level of what becase i forget ). I am supposed to get scheduled for a more official one of the hospital here in the city, not sure when that'll...

    Just be straight out and tell them. Say that it is very hard to find something like snacks (especially the junk food!!) and also very expensive and while you appreciate them wanting to try new things you only have a limited supply and sometimes you may share them little samples but not to eat the whole thing. If they're a true friend they will no be offended...

    Yeah there is a mini doc office on campus. If it doesnt improve any by the weekend then i'll go there maybe. You usually need an appointment but i'll tell them it was accident so its not like I knew it was coming. If i deicide to be stubborn i'll just wait until I go back to the doc about my gallbladder a week from now ~ Lisa ~

    Ahhh i swear my right hand is good for nothing!! Today is my 3rd time hurting it badly somehow. Here's what happened this time : trying to walk between a computer and the board (with not much space) at school, and I rammed my right hand straight into the corner of the whiteboard -- right on my vein!! Its been swollen/numb/sore all day. You may think i'm weird...

    It's very likely it could be not gluten-free.....i'm not sure the name of the pills even, I am always given thd black and yellow capsules and I always seem to have some sort of a reaction to them (which often feels like glutened). But if I asked doctor he says even if it isn't gluten-free there are no other substitutions. Maybe that's just a problem in Canada...

    Hey guys. Not sure how many people read this in my other post so i'll start it on a seperate topic. For my research paper in Sociology class I'm going to do it on the limited supply of gluten-free products in Canada.     That is what I said, guess just worded it a non-proper way . I said that instead of saying no because its a "natural flavour", I can say no because that "natural flavour" will now list wheat and have an excuse ~ Lisa ~

    I live in a farming area...Heck, all we HAVE in Saskatchewan is farming!! During the summer/fall you can see so much grain dust in the air that it looks like fog. So I warn you: If i'm exposed to it too much, and breathe it in, not only do I nearly have an asthma attack but I do get glutened. ~ Lisa ~

    Hmm, sorry i'm not familiar with the US taxing system..the only thing i've learned in Taxation so far is when someone from Canada moves to the US, that's about it....I can tell you that I just get to the doctor to write on a prescription slip that I have Celiac and am on the gluten-free det. And that's always been sufficient. But maybe check with your tax...

    When i went in there to tell what was register the first time and tell my story i had to ask for some of the things i wanted. I was supposed to get a doctor to say all of them but he didn't...so it was the lady who used to work in the disability office (whos now retired) was the one that made the list up.     Yeah, i wish they would just change it to gluten. But it's still a help......if I see warnings about "wheat" on something that should be gluten-free or appears to me, I ignore it. It's better to at least list wheat than not have ANY gluten. Since wheat is clearly the most typical thing added into everything. ~ Lisa ~

    Guess you don't realize that right now in Canada the only gluten-free beer we can get is La Messagere. And Nubru is finally another being made in Canada too. I just wanna try my options so that if its good, and cheaper, i'll sometimes buy it too instead of paying $19 for a 6 pack of La Messagere... ~ Lisa ~
