    ARCHIVED Uti?

This is cross-posted in Live Journal community, but I was looking up all the problems related to UTI (mild fever, chills, pain, upset stomach, low back pain, vomiting, a constant need to urinate or an inability to urinate at all, blood in the urine, and pain or a burning sensation during urination, fatigue, rib pain, nausea. foul-smelling urine, frequent...
  3. Blah, you know its not getting any better than your family freaks out on you out of nowhere and calls you an ***hole for no reason.. ~lisa~
  4. Ur husband shouldnt be embarassed (u can tell by typing that arthritis is no better so i want to type as little as i can heh) about taking rice bread when u go out to eat! its not like U urself is any different, its just the bread. Really, its true if u think about it. They have bread/buns w/flour, u use the rice bread. Hahaha and i luv ur idea of...
  5. That sucks, Wemdy. i know there are some places like that too that its a health food store, but they have the gluten containing items mixed in between the gluten-free ones, and the gluten-free ones mixed in between the gluten containing items. But I can understand, very tight for space. (VERY tight). But since you say "racks and racks" i assume that its...

    ARCHIVED $$$$

I had the choice between starving, or waiting til April and drive 2 1/2 hours to pay at least $1.50 more for each product. So I decided on ordering from the company itself. for $74.52. At this rate I can see it already, going to pass my gluten free total from last year of $1600 approx expenses ~lisa~
  8. I live in a very small town, too. 3000 people, and 3 restaurants. The one greek restaurant has turned into crap (seriously, people have gotten sick since the original owner left), so all I can eat in town is white rice in the vietnamese restaurant, and homemade (SOO YUMMY AND HUGE) hamburgers at the Chinese food restaurant. I definitely try to avoid eating...

    Blah

I wonder what else is truly wrong with me. I'm serious already, the arthritis, rib pain, mysterious stomach pain, constant flu-like symptoms, and worst of all: Jeans falling off!! If I lost weight again I'm going to scream. Maybe I should just scream anyways...
  10. I'd still like to find a guy who's gluten-free. I told a bunch of my male friends (not that I have many) about the no gluten before a kiss issue, and only one of them didnt freak out, he said "really..." in a "wow" and "thats interesting" way. And I mentioned it enough that I think he got the point hes supposed to remember it. Too bad I havent talked...
  11. I want to say thank you already to all of you. You nearly all bring me to tears, just because of how supportive and caring you are to someone none of you have ever met. That doesnt happen very often with me. I always have cooked my own gluten-free meals. And only cook enough for myself, because nobody except for dad sometimes will eat my food. Then...
  12. They have control of any money i'd use for rent/food/tuition, and there is no dorms
  13. I'm 21, in college finally(and my parents will refuse to let me live on my own -- said they will not find me an apartment where I am going to school, which is 30 minutes from here). Viola, I'm from Canora, thats close to Yorkton, if you know where that is? I'm not sure the local doctors would help, most dont even know a lot about Celiac so they couldnt...
  14. I bet I'm the only person on this message board whos family is more concerned with themselves, and who'd rather make me have asthma/anxiety attacks from them freaking me out, than ask how I'm feeling, etc. One of these times I may not be able to control my attacks at all, and it'd be a sad thought knowing it was my parents that killed me that way. Most...
  15. Whoa you are right. Lots of views! I didnt really want 'celebrity dirt', just was curious if there was any of them like all of us out there. I agree with both sides of the story here. That admitting they have Celiac may be to their disadvantage (making finding work harder, etc). But that'd be the perfect way to tell people what Celiac disease is. Out...
  16. Oh yes, the clumsiness is insane for me. I am always nearly falling over, running into things, dropping things, etc etc etc. Sometimes I've gotten up out of bed, and seriously just fallen to my floor! I'm always being called clumsy. Sometimes its rather embarassing ~lisa~
  17. Glad to see you got some answers, and a doctor that actually believed you when something was wrong. (we all know too often they dont, or give you the "I dont know"). Hope you feel better soon. ~lisa~
  18. I get check for anemia every 2 months (or I did for a year, anyways). I have all the symptoms of it, but dont have it. When I go to a doctors appointment tomorrow I'll make sure I get a new form for the bloodwork again. It never hurts to be tested for that, thats for sure. ~lisa~
  19. I think they are. I have psoriasis on my head, neck, some of my stomach (little spots), leg...the same spots I have DH. Some places where DH got bad enough I notice it started into little patches of psoriasis. So yes, i believe they are connected. ~lis~
  20. It did for me. Even though I was really, really, really sick for almost 2 months before starting going gluten-free, since then anytime I've cheated the pains are worse, regardless of how little or much gluten exposure I have. Maybe someone else can explain it better than me. ~lisa~
  21. Today is exactly 3 years that I have been sick. Its a sad thought, knowing that at the start of every new year, I have to remember all the crap I have to deal with for the rest of my life... :~( ~lisa~
  22. Yeah I'm already dairy free, so its not that. I dont eat a lot of meat. I'm not vegetarian, but ĂŤ dont eat a lot of it. I live on mostly rice bread lol. The problem is at school. I guess I can get some air freshener to spray when i'm going to the bathroom there???. Then someone might know its me who always nearly kills everyone in the place. ~...
  23. Yeah I assume others get this, but due freaking out I think I'm going to sleep on the couch tonight. Just because I found one worm crawling on my bed (and god, who knows how many of those live in everyones house). I went through all my quilts (both sides), and there are no more, but I'm still seriously like freaking out. Those anxiety, panic attacks, and...
  24. I'm 21, but I got Celiac when I was 18 and since then(even since being on the diet) my menstrual cycle is shot. It comes any day it wants (sometimes a couple months since the last, sometimes a week after the last). It was last 2 to 13 days. Sometimes I have such pain I cant even move, sometimes no pain. Probably doesnt help you much, but thats my side...
  25. Definitely female here. ~lisa~
