    I'm almost 22, so honestly I'd like to see someone talk about guys/boyfriends, and how it make it easier to finding one who will always accept that you've got Celiac, and that its not as scary as it may sound (for the guy)..or, even a little more extreme, how you and the guy could share a first kiss without HIM making the move (sorry these are dumb suggestions...

    I have a question for everyone on this board: If you were in a situation where you had no back-up gluten-free food, and had not eating for a long period of time... Would you starve and be sick with increased nausea from hunger pains.....or would you eat something with gluten to fill the hunger, even though you know you'll pay for it later??? ~lisa...

    I have no clue whats going on with me, but its starting to worry me now! For the last 4 days now I have had no feeling in pretty much my whole right hand--even to type i am missing half the keys because i push on them, but theres not enough feeling in my hands to push the keys down! Its very numb--like that feeling you get if you sleep on it too often...

    I have the weight problem, too. At first I lost 44 lbs when switching over to gluten-free, somehow managed to gain some back (maybe because for a while I wasnt sticking to the diet??)..I'm now somewhere around 130 lbs, I'm about 5'7" so I'm just about right for my height..     I've been gluten-free for over 3 years now, and I have a combo of chronic diarrhea and chronic constipation. I go a stretch of 2-4 days where I pretty much live in the toilet and anything I eat/drink goes right through me, and then 2-4 days where I dont go at all (even if I eat dairy to try and make myself go!). Hopefully for you, tho, it'll clear up...

    My period was regular before getting Celiac. Then since going gluten-free its been as irregular as it could be (and yes, I have seen my docs about it). Sometimes it'll skip a cycle..sometimes it'll end and start again in only a week..I've had it last from 2 to 13 days..sometimes its heavy through all the days, sometimes normal flow, sometimes only light or...

    Honestly, if I had a recipe for the pyrogies, I'd give you them. Someone here in Saskatchewan (the company is called KayBee) makes a pre-mix for them, so I just buy those premixes and add eggs/oil/water to make a cup of liquid to each packag,e and then make them like you would normal pyrogies.. Wish I could help you more with that! ~lisa~

I went over to my auntie and uncle's place today, and me and my Baba made some gluten-free pyrogies, so I was there all afternoon. As soon as I got there I showed Auntie my marks from college, and she said they were good, but jumped straight to giving me a huge lecture...

    I made that cake mix a couple of days ago, and I already ate almost the whole pan myself haha. Just to warn you: the dough is impossible to make the marble mix with, so I kinda just mixed with a finger what I could And then I have a recipe for chocolate icing...its so good!! I'll be buying more of that mix if I could find it again... ...

    No, I never feel better...I'm going to talk to my MLA this week without any question, tell him whats going on. I cant like this forever (and like I keep saying it may be 2007 before I get a colonoscopy done)..If you used any messagers that would be an easy way to help, to talk to you that way! ~lisa~

I searched many, many lists online and these are the basic symptoms I found, and any ones in bold is what I have...: bloody diahhrea pain in one spot lower back pain arthritis high white blood cell count low red blood cell count bacterial infections...

    Meh I am feeling OK only...well eventually the pain does come back by the end of the day, and my exam today and the one yesterday I am sure i didnt do all that well on because of how much the prednisone/buscopan throw my mind out of whack. I just want an answer, if I can get in the next 4 months before I start my next year of college that would be the greatest...
