  1. I got an updated response to something already posted here, in case anyone was interested: Because we constantly strive to improve our products′ quality and nutritional value, the most up-to-date product information is on the package the product is purchased in. For that reason, we do not distribute product information lists as they could quickly become o...
  2. Chex has a list of gluten-free treats that can be made with Chex cereal. They all look pretty easy and are made with inexpensive ingredients. I'm probably going to default to these for Christmas. Open Original Shared Link
  3. I've been using that one also. There are a few on iTunes but I think this one was worth the cost.
  4. You could use this as a starting point: Open Original Shared Link
  5. *thumbs up*
  6. In my job I hear parents blame a lot of activities on their kid's conditions. Some of the time the condition is to blame but more often than not parents have just found it to be an easy excuse. I'm not saying you do that, just that I hope you don't start. (My favorite example of this behavior is a woman telling me her 14 year old son didn't know what he was...
  7. When I feel cheated like that I just imagine that I would've spent about that much if not more had I gone for fast food somewhere. It helps ease the pain a little. But only a little.
  8. I have the same issue. It's gotten much better since going gluten free but the once or twice I've noticed it again I just changed into pajamas so I didn't feel it as much. Never figured out how to make it go away.
  9. Really really hot showers help me, at least until I'm out of the water. Car rides also help me too so I drive around sometimes if I'm in pain.
  10. I've found a lot of comfort in Yoplait's yogurt selections. My local grocery store has just started stocking some new flavors which really curb my cravings for sweet stuff. Apple turnover, strawberry cheesecake, white chocolate strawberry, etc. As for bread I've tried two brands and one of them is fantastic while the other is only good as toast. The good...
  11. This is coming up a lot lately. B12 helps me.
  12. I've had symptoms wake me up several times. Once was so bad I woke up and went straight to my dad (he's a PA) until the doctor's office was open and we did an ultrasound to make sure I hadn't unknowingly swallowed a small wombat that was trying to claw its way back out. Earlier this year when the nausea was really really bad I'd wake up all the time thinking...
  13. When I started taking B12 it made me feel GREAT but after a week that feeling went away. I hope I never have to get the shots.
  14. B12 supplements keep my RLS in check. If I forget the supplements for a couple of days I can feel it come back. Alcohol brings it back sometimes too but I hardly ever drink and couldn't say if B12 still keeps it at bay then.
  15. You and me both lady..
  16. For a while I thought it was related to meds I was taking. A couple of years ago when it started my (complete idiot) doctor had me on a high dosage of Effexor. Now I've just stopped taking BusPar and I'm back to dizziness. I'm also wondering if it's related to my seasonal allergies because the last couple of days I've felt really heavy headed, but no sinus...
  17. Taking B12 keeps me from having restless legs at night.
  18. Any particular reason to split them up?
  19. Another one of my symptoms that I have periodically. For a few weeks now every time I lean my head back I get dizzy but the today I'm just plain dizzy. Not vertigo, just dizzy. It happens every now and again and when it does it goes on for a couple of weeks. Sometimes it's only when I lay down. Strange, right? Possibly related to anemia? I know dizziness...
  20. Yep I think that's it.. the way I feel now feels normal but it's probably not. I haven't had any noticeable changes since going gluten free but I'm hoping for something.
  21. Various websites put them in various order, and various people experience them in various order. I found the one that matches mine.
  22. I think I'm in the guilt/anger stage now.. still a bit until acceptance. Shock or Disbelief Denial Bargaining Guilt Anger Depression Acceptance and Hope
  23. As I understand it, the longer one goes without gluten the more intense symptoms of accidental glutening will be, yes? I was trying to explain this to my boyfriend earlier and was having trouble with it. What physically (in layman's terms) is going on to cause gluten to have such an effect later on?
