I've been reacting to Enjoy Life chocolate chips and bars. I don't know why it is but I'm positive now that it's causing problems. Too bad because I thought they tasted pretty good :/

I'm not surprised that science is finding out the relationship between corn and gluten intolerance/celiac is much more troublesome than what they thought. Just from personal experience (obviously not statistically relevant lol) I used to be able to eat corn, now it's like poison to me

Has anyone tried Navitas cocoa products? Are they ok?

I don't eat dairy and soy but I've never worried about cross contamination from them. Whatever the case, I'm definitely not eating Ghirardelli again.

Just thought I'd update this by saying that I ate the pasta every day for a week and didn't notice any symptoms. So it's safe as far as I'm concerned

I like to make chocolate things but I need a safe cocoa powder. I was using Ghirardelli because I thought it was safe (their website gives a kinda confusing explanation of their processing methods and what allergens might be present) but now I am definitely reacting to it so I had to throw it away :/ What do you use?

So I've been reading some super sensitives have trouble with Tinkyada pastas which is what I use. Have ya'll found that to be the case? Do you know what the problem with their pastas would be? From what I've read and talking to them, it seems like their products should be free from gluten contamination, but I'm considering doing a food challenge just to...

Pretty sure So Delicious bothers me, but I might have to try it again to be completely sure. Tropical Tradition coconut flour is great and its never bothered me so I'd say its safe for all super sensitives. I'd recommend it to anyone.

Never had a problem with them and I use a lot of their flours and starches. -
You might try Oogave soda if you can find it. It's sweetened with agave syrup and tasted pretty good. I don't drink it anymore because it has corn (citric acid) but it should be safe for super sensitives. I would call the company just to make sure.

I used to take the Kirkman Labs multivitamin and never had any problems with it. I believe they are safe for super sensitives.

I don't believe Breyers uses dedicated lines for gluten free items.

Do you eat Chex and Breyers often without any reactions? They might have gluten cross contamination issues.

I'd like to try a flour mix that doesn't use starches and was wondering if anyone had any ideas. The flours I usually use are garbanzo bean, coconut, buckwheat, teff and sorghum and, when a recipe calls for it, I use guar gum. Are there combination of some or all of those that would make an effective and versatile flour mix?

I'm trying to find some gluten-free brands of rice, free from all cross contamination because I am very sensitive. I can't do Bob's or Lundberg's because of oats. What are some other safe brands? -
Just as an update, I found out that Penzeys doesn't actually test for gluten. Their spices should be gluten free of course, its just that they don't test specifically for gluten.

I mean the rice that is grown with the oats come into contact with the wild rice when they are being processed. That would be the way that the wild rice gets contaminated with oats. -

So what you're saying is the wild rice wouldn't come into contact with the oats at all? What about being processed on the same equipment? I'm pretty sensitive. I'm pretty sure oats are the reason I can't have Bob's Red Mill. Here's a discussion of how Lundberg does use oats as a cover crop, including links, as your link doesn't seem to say it. -
I'm looking to go rice free (but not wild rice free because it's different) and I wanted to try some wild rice. However, I find out that Lundberg Farms uses oats as a cover crop O_O I am very allergic to oats so I avoid them like the plague. I'm wondering what other brands of wild rice there are that would be safe. Any suggestions? I've only found one...
