    I am 5 ft. I see a definite pattern of short people here except for a few. my parents are short, too, but then again, isn't this disease genetic? How many of our parents have it or might have it but don't know it? I know my mom won't get tested even though I told her to...not because she doesn't believe it; she's just lazy about it b/c she barely even...

    This is just something I heard so pardon if it's wrong but I heard that soy is NOT good for young kids and teenagers. Don't know if it's true or not but I've heard it from several people now.

    I like the blood type diet but it is just impossible for me to maintain. When you have a crazy schedule sometimes you just need to eat, you know? It's hard enough to be gluten-free and then also have to worry about all of that. Even with food allergies, I have heard you are supposed to stop ingesting those foods for awhile but can gradually let them back...

    Okay, cool. All I get is the regular yogurt. Should I be concerned, though, about it touching a cone?

    If it was me I would do what others are saying and try to offer specialty things that other companies don't! Maybe even make some of your own recipes if possible to sell in your store... I wish I could open a gluten-free store!

    I'm not sure what the shiver machine is. I don't get toppings, just yogurt out of the machine. But, if you think about it, those machines might touch a cone from time to time.

    Skarlett, you want to check out the thread I wrote about chest pain. In it, I also talked about rib cage pain, just under the left or right breast. It hurts so bad when I get it that I can't move or breathe. Another member said it might be a symptom of costochondritis. Google that and you'll see....

    My photo is too big. It is about 200KB which I know is too big but I don't know how to get it to be smaller. I tried looking around on EasyShare and there's nothing that says "resize" or anything like that. All of the Kodak pics are too big so I guess I won't be putting a pic on as I don't have a scanner to create a smaller photo! What a bummer...

    I tried to do a Kodak Easy Share photo that was a jpg file, which is allowed. It still says I am not allowed...oh well. I don't know what else to try so I guess I won't waste any more time on it!

    Well, I ate there and loved it! Did not get sick. But I still would like to know why to ask them to clean the machine..hopefully whoever posted that will read this and answer! I clearly must not be lactose intolerant b/c I felt fine after eating it and still do. Can dairy bother you sometimes and not others?

    I tried, but it won't let me put in a personal photo. How did the others get one in there? Can we ask Scott for permission? I know a few others have one...there's got to be a way!

    Italian/Greek here. Brown hair (although blonde now!) brown eyes. Even though Italian I have very fair skin-actually use the lightest make-up colors!

    Thanks, celiac3270! I don't know how you found that so fast-I didn't realize it was under the Coldstone Creamery topic! In any case I had the TCBY and so far so good but i didn't know to ask them to clean off the machine..hopefully this will be fine. Do we ask b/c the cones can touch them?

    What does it mean to ask them to clean off the shiver machine? I just ate there and so far so good. I had choc/vanilla swirl yogurt. Woulld it need to be cleaned b/c it can touch a cone? Oh well I didn't know to ask that...let me know if that is why... Jennifer

    I am SO frustrated. I can't find anything out on their website, it's Sunday and I'm dying for a TCBY. I KNOW we discussed this on this board but I have searched every topic and I can't find it. If you get private insurance and they consider celiac disease a pre existing condition, what about if you have to go to the emergency room because of say, chest pain or severe stomach distress?     Lately one leg or the other from time to time will feel like a fly or bug is crawling on it. When i look down, there's nothing there! It's happening every day but only once in a while. Am I crazy or does anyone else get this? My list of symptoms just keeps getting longer and longer the longer I'm gluten-free....

    I am SO confused. I just went to the store. Kraft Honey BBQ has REGULAR vinegar, not distilled in it. How is this considered safe? Yet a lot of people here use it? I bought Sweet Baby Ray's Hickory. Has anyone used this and knows it to be safe? Thanks, Jennifer
