  1. just skip the wine. I am Catholic and skip the wine unless I am the first one drinking. Also, we have to use canon approved wafers but can you use gluten-free bread?
  2. It was just a wipe I had handy lol I know Gluten isn't a germ. Well, unless it's wheat germ lol
  3. Yeah I got a bleach wipe and wiped down everything when I got off my laptop LOL
  4. Ok. This is reaaally confusing me. When I am pregnant I CRAVE milk/cheese/yogurt. I can't get enough. Since the miscarriage it has cooled down a LOT but earlier this week I shared a string cheese with my lil guy. I have been feeling...off...since then. I was drinking at least 2 glasses of milk a day while I was pregnant and running through string cheese...
  5. You know, I didn't think about this but all week I have had an upset stomach- feels like gluten not hormones- and I couldn't figure out where it was coming from. The only new things I had all week were some Mi-Del Ginger snaps, a few pieces of Cadbury Dark Chocolate, and lots of library research. I thought it might be the dark chocolate or CC from the snaps...
  6. LIIIIIKE I did HAHAHHA My husband skyped me in the middle of my nutella-fest and said I looked like a chocolate vampire LOL
  7. YES!!! Hazelnuts and tastes like CHOCOLATE and omgah omigah!!! SOOO GOOOD! I have to hide it from my toddler because i gave him ONE taste ONCE and now he sees the jar and flips his lid haha. Covert Nutella eating operation.
  8. I am watching Greys anatomy and eating Nutella straight from the jar. Though I would share XD
  9. UDIS FOR THE WIN!!!!! I love it!
  10. LOL YES I was going with my peeps (whom I trust). I take google with a grain of salt!! TYTYTYTY! My classes are cancelled today and I AM GOING TO STUDY AND EAT NUTELLA STRAIGHT FROM THE JAR!!! SQUEEEEEEESAUCE WITH A SIDE OF EPICWIN!
  11. I loved this before I got diagnosed, but I'm not sure if it's gluten free... Does anyone know if it is? I'll be so happy if it is gluten-free.
  12. I had a professor ask me today if I got glutened because I still have a bump from the baby (I am REALLY thin so I puff up almost immediately). I didn't know what to say, and before I could say anything he said "Oh! You're pregnant! I totally forgot!" I had to go in the bathroom to cry. I didn't even correct him. Ugh.
  13. ...prune juice?
  14. AUGH. I am so glad that people are becoming more aware but geeesh.
  15. I have! I had an ovarian cyst that they thought was appendicitis.Turns out it's just a big cyst on my Right ovary. We even named it (Reginald) since it kept making me sick like I was pregnant. I am now off of the birth control I was on, and I am interested to see if it goes away. I never had these until after being diagnosed.

    ARCHIVED Discouraged

Oh my goodness! What Kareng said! It took me MONTHS to heal! It's going to take some time but you'll feel better eventually so long as you stick with it! Hang in there, it can be discouraging but it just takes time.
  17. Thanks for all the help coping, guys. Making the phone calls was SO hard...Especially because my husband was gone. But we talked about it and if we wait until May, between his class date and deployment we can get pregnant and I'll only be alone for the first 6 months. I can handle that. So hopefully it works!!
  18. I am a full time student, and what I did was at the beginning of the semester I brought in doctors notes and hand outs on Celiac. Then I told them that because I have Celiac, I am going to get sick occasionally. I could provide doctors notes or whatever else was needed. If I had to miss class, I had to miss class. Unfortunately, GI upset is not something...
  19. You are absolutely right. I would have been pregnant and/or delivering the baby alone, and since I got so sick with my son, my doctor told me being pregnant could kill me. My husband would have missed too much...and with the possibility of death thrown in there it's hard to not be slightly relieved. I am sad, he is sad, and we are coping, but we are also...
  20. Thanks for all the support! We were pretty disappointed. It was worse on me because I saw it yesterday in an ultrasound and then today it was just gone. I have some GREAT pain pills and my husband took it pretty well (although he wants to try again when he gets home and so do I and we know it's just our parent sides being impractical). Anyway, I was asking...
  21. We lost the little bun in the oven We'll start trying again when the man gets home from his deployment . I'm ok, just eating frosting out of the container LOL. It's hard but I am thankful for the gluten free junk food you guys have showed me XD.
  22. I am so sorry!! It sucks when people ask that. Lameo's.
  23. Now whiskeys and whatnot I am ok with. I seem to handle those all right. Which is good news because I love my Scotch!
  24. I love oatmeal but I refuse to even try non gluten-free oats. Not worth the risk, especially now . I do find myself looking for food without allergen warnings.
  25. I honestly have no idea what this is
