  1. My MiL actually thought I was being dramatic... Until I had a wicked bad reaction from cross contamination. I all but pooped on her feet (almost barfed on her though). Now she's SUPER supportive of me!
  2. I totally remember that feeling LOL. Feel better!!!
  3. I had really horrible periods ON the pill. It also killed my sex drive. The only problem now is apparently I don't have ANY periods LOL

  5. Thanks for all the support guys. I went today and the urine test was negative. The thing is, it would have been HUGELY off cycle...My husband returned 11/3 and my period was supposed to start 11/6. So I am SO confused. She said I would be 6 weeks but thats not fair to measure from October because Sean wasn't even home until 11/3!!!! Gah. So they took...
  6. Well, it's happened again, guys. My husband got back from the desert a few weeks ago and I am 3 weeks late. I went to a new OB today who said my fertility issues could be related to CELIAC!! I had no idea it could affect it to this extent! Hopefully I AM pregnant but if I am not, I am going to start on shots to kind of reset my body. Can any of...
  7. We spend between $200-225 per paycheck. I am feeding a husband who eats enough to feed a small country, myself, and a toddler.
  8. I second this!! All of you have helped me through the difficult transition and I am SO thankful for ALL the help and support. From uncooperative family to "oops! Glutened myself!" I know I have a group of people who understand!! Thank you soooo much!

  12. I am a celiac and I don't have many close friends here (they've all PCS'd). I also have severe asthma, and endometriosis. The thing is, I live my life ASIDE from the health issues. I am also an active duty military wife. My husband deploys for months on end. I have to deal with my life as is, there is no coming home early. Basically, I put my big girl...
  13. Well, I am heading to a concert on the 23rd with a friend from college. I am going to have to eat, and I am going to have to function throughout the night. I was thinking a loaf of udi's and some pb/jelly in my car, some larabars, and a stop at Whole Foods for coffee and breakfast. 19. Well, since going gluten-free I began going to baseball games again, I am not afraid to go on road trips, I like to have "quality time" with my husband (constant upset stomach used to curtail it), my hair isn't falling out anymore, I have enough strength to care for my rambunctious little boy, I don't take Zofran like candy anymore, and I LOVE FOOD AGAIN...

  22. Well they ended not coming this weekend (my mom has the flu- booooo! ) but they ARE coming next weekend. My dad asked about food and I had to explain the vinegar, beer, and cross contamination I am going to take them to the store and teach them how to read labels and whatnot so I don't have to be so paranoid. I am glad they want to learn though...
  23. I'm not sure what if it is gluten-free or not, but I use Pureology and Nexxus on my hair, Oil of Olay on my face, and Bath and Body Works on my body. SO far so good. I also use Clinique makeup and moisturizer and it seems to be going ok. I have VERY long hair, and there is a straightening product I use with wheat in it, I just wash my hands after I...

  25. I would DEFINITELY ask for an anti anxiety med. I had similar problems pre diagnosis and post diagnosis I was afraid to go anywhere. My doc put me on Lexapro and it's working very well for me. I am on a VERY low dose and it takes the edge off. I hope it gets better for you! I have a 2 year old so I understand how being in a house with a toddler can...
