  1. I had no problem getting pregnant with our 2 year old, but I have had secondary infertility including several miscarriages. I find it interesting however that I experienced the infertility after going gluten-free. My OB swears that it has nothing to do with my gluten-free status though. I would say cross that bridge when you get to it
  2. Last time I ate Chex in bed I ended up throwing it up LOL. I dunno I guess my body is just finicky right now. I'll just keep on trying different things! Thank you all so much, I am so sick and tired of being sick.
  3. Yes, Reeds Ginger Beer is a staple in our house now I am buying some gatorade tomorrow if I can drag myself up and out of the house. I did realize today that if I eat what I am craving it will stay down- I threwup a apple and water this morning but kept a pastrami and provolone sandwich down. I took my son to Mellow Mushroom for dinner and got us a gluten...
  4. Thanks, I've literally tried everything. I actually was going to call today and go get an IV but I managed to get some water into me. I HATE THISSSS!!!!
  5. This is my second child, and I am having trouble understanding why I am so much sicker even though I am now gluten-free. I've been to the ER 4 times in the past month for dehydration. I'm so confused. I'm on both Zofran AND Phenergren for nausea. I hope this means it's a girl and not caused by diet lol

    ARCHIVED Frustrated!

Oh man as soon as I can get the morning sickness under control I am making that breadstick recipe. I think it IS the salt and whatnot I am craving. Well hopefully I'll be able to eat somewhat normally soon
  8. OH MY GOODNESS I AM RIGHT THERE WITH YOU!! I actually wrote a post about how I was craving Pizza Hut Breadsticks!!!!!! My doctor thinks I'm not getting enough fat so my body is craving stuff that it knows will fatten me up. Today, however I was craving pastrami so I had hot pastrami and provolone on toasted Udi's with mayo and mustard... SO GOOD! Naturally...
  9. I think it was a little bit of an overreaction, but I understand being sensitive. I personally have no cravings or jealousy towards others who CAN eat "normally" and I think it's because I know how sick it makes me. Of course, pregnancy complicates things (I have been craving things I can't eat but know better than to try) but I still am not mad at others...
  10. This reminds me of the BBQ sauce thing that my husband and I went through LOL It got better for us, I hope it gets better for you!!!
  11. Ok guys, I'm confused. I am an AWESOME Celiac... I NEVER cheat, I never looked back once the diet started and I was diagnosed. Now that I am pregnant, though, my body is turning on it's head! Like last time, I am still nauseous ALL THE TIME, to the point that I really don't want to leave the bathroom. But now I am craving things I absolutely cannot...
  12. After I gave birth to my son the first thing I asked for was a 4 pack of Boylans LOL
  13. Oh goodness, right??? I am breaking out so badly, and I have a pale green pallor. My husband says I am beautiful but I suspect that he is honor bound to say that XD
  14. OMG I so understand, I just went to the ER for the 2nd time in a month for extreme dehydration!! My OB actually sent me to get an IV, I was like "um....shouldn't I be better?" I took a phenergan at 4am and I am STILL dopey. Man I hope this lets up soon, I so can't function like this!
  15. Hey! Thanks!! I am 7 weeks tomorrow and I am VEEEERY sick which is great. So far no preterm anything so far! I am totally gluten-free now and so is my toddler to minimize cc. I'll keep you guys posted!!
  16. I'm doing well! 7 weeks pregnant and my husband just left for training for a month but the kid and I are hanging on! Right now I have the flu (lame) and am trying to kick that, but aside from that we're great!!! How have you (and everyone else) been?
  17. I'm not sure but I'll let you know if I make it full term this time around! My son was an emergency induction at 36 weeks but I had early labor before that. Hopefully I'll make it full term, especially since my husband will be deployed and I'll have to call the inlaws in LOL
  18. My feet got bigger, but I suspect that has more to do with pregnancy than celiac lol
  19. So true guys. My weight gain this pregnancy is almost non existent, I have gained 4 pounds but I am pretty sure it's all in my boobs LOL. But some of the other pregos were like "Oh! How do you do it?!" Well, I can't eat junk, plain and simple. I make whole foods and my morning sickness is better because of it. On of the other women was like "Well you shouldn...
  20. 6'1" and I am the short one in my family. My dad has celiac as well and he is 6'4".
  21. I seriously would like a chocolate mint boar right now. COPIOUS QUANTITIES OF CHOCOLATE OMNOMNOM!!!
  22. I was the same way when I first got diagnosed. Once I got the stomach thing under control I still was terrified to go anywhere. My doctor diagnosed me with Generalized Anxiety Disorder and put me on Lexapro which has helped SO much
  23. Really! I got a lot of protein and I still ended up with it. Weird. I just had red quinoa for lunch and it was AWESOME!
  24. I think that having Celiac is a silly reason not to have kids. If you want kids, have kids. If you don't, don't. Parenthood isn't easy, regardless. I have Celiac and knowing that I have it is the first step to treating my son if he starts to show symptoms.
  25. I agree, lots of whole foods. I found out that I feel better (morning sickness wise) when I have good food in me. Lots of brown rice, quinoa, fresh meats and veggies, I love love love red bell peppers right now. Good luck TTC!!! Sending you some of my baby dust!
