  1. IT'S A BOY!!! BPP was great, it's very healthy and measuring a week ahead. WOOHOO!
  2. Just wanted to let you know (since you guys have been with me from the beginning) IT'S A BOY! THey thought it was a girl for the last month and then today it was CLEARLY a boy lol
  3. Thank you so much! I am now 21 weeks, and I have moved on from the HORRIBLE morning sickness (down to one zofran a day) to a 2.5 month yeast infection that has moved to my Cervix. I am on a triple strength anti fungal and antibiotics. Not to mention the hemorrhoids... Oh pregnancy, I did not miss YOU at all LOL What sucks so bad is my husband is deployed...
  4. When I was first pregnant I had the opposite than I did with Collin which was severe C....the C finally hit at 5 months (I am 21 weeks now) but holy cow. I had d with this one until 2 months, and my OB said it was just my hormones, some women have "double morning sickness" (his words) which means they have D and nausea/etc. I guess every baby is different...
  5. I have two bracelets from Laurens Hope and I LOVE mine. I wear mine for Asthma and had celiac put on it too... It's barely noticeable.
  6. We found out that I had Celiac BECAUSE I was losing hair from malabsorption. Hair is a big indicator (I have been told). The good news is, my hair grew back when I started getting the stuff I needed
  7. My husband says that all emotion is directed through my stomach first LOL
  8. OOOH yeah, I al 5 months pregnant now and the stress is kicking up my symptoms. I'm sorry you have to deal with this!
  9. I got glutened by a scratched non stick pan. All gluten-free ingredients....fresh veggies in a gluten-free kitchen. Only thing was the pan (for sure) It wasn't the worst reaction but DEFINITELY a reaction.

    ARCHIVED Reaction!

I don't have a reaction to oats, I actually eat Udi's granola all the time. Collin is on a gluten-free diet, he got a cookie at the grocery store because it keeps him quiet while I get my stuff done. I am thinking maybe he snuck a drink of my water or I just forgot to wash his hands when he got home. Also, this was interesting, I had another salad...

    ARCHIVED Reaction!

Ok well that saves me a trip to the pantry to check LOL Thanks for letting me know! My son had a regular cookie that day, I am wondering if he took a drink of my water bottle without me knowing (as 2.5 year olds are apt to do LOL)
  12. Evil evil sorbital!!
  13. I didn't do that at first, just my lipgloss and shampoos. Now I check everything but I have been gluten-free for a year. It'll get easier, I promise
  14. haha go right ahead!! Sean said it should be green. It seems like a good analogy for us!

    ARCHIVED Reaction!

I've been fine with them previously, I craved Udi's granola the first few months I was pregnant. I wonder if I'm more sensitive now? Today was just an... off day. On the up side I finally got all my... ahem... stuff... cleaned out after dealing with pregnancy related C!!! (Leave it to my husband to text me silver linings while I'm on the bathroom floor...
  16. Celiac doesn't define me per se, but it IS a part of me, like my asthma is. It DOES take a larger part of my life, since I have to be so careful and take my own food, but I am not the "Wheat Free Wife". I am "Kate, oh, and she bas food allergies so she brings her own food, no biggie" to my friends. Much like I am a grad student, an Air Force Wife, an...

    ARCHIVED Reaction!

Thanks guys, I thought I was just crampy or the baby was growing but it became pretty apparent that I wasn't. I thought it was weird that I had eaten the granola before with no reaction but the bar may have gotten me! Waffles got me last time I tried them too (Vans), I may be giving those to the kid from now on lol. I suspect I got the worst out of the...

    ARCHIVED Reaction!

First reaction since being pregnant... in addition to all the familiar symptoms, I also have a baby kicking me and a toddler running wild (husband is deployed). I'm not sure what I ate, here's what I have had today Natures Path berry buckwheat waffles* Glutino cornflakes Motts fruit snacks (say gluten-free on box) pepperoni pizza made with Scharr...
  19. I read that!! I have been craving cheese like crazy so maybe that'll give me a head start
  20. I got pregnant at 21, very healthy, no indication of any celiacs. At 30 weeks I was put on bed rest, 32 weeks, hospital bed rest and emergency induction at 36 weeks. My BP was 190/110 when I delivered. It was horrible and scary. So far this pregnancy is going better. My husband is deployed so I have had some blood pressure issues from stress and...
  21. I drink wine like it's going out of style but I've never had a reaction.
  22. Ugggh annoying on all accounts. This is why we can't get no respect (to quote Rodney Dangerfield)
  23. Loritabs and Zofran for reactions. Lexapro but I have Generalized Anxiety Disorder.
  24. I am so proud of her for standing up for herself!!! I had a situation like that once, it was a flourless chocolate cake as well and I was quizzing the baker on the ingredients. Then I noticed a tiny bit of white around the bottom. I said "What is that?" ... She responds with "Oh, that's just leftover flour from where I dusted the pan" RIIIIGHT...
  25. thanks for the heads up!! I was shocked at how much I grew last night, but my husband asked if maybe it was swelling? I dunno but SOMETHING got bigger in there LOL
