  1. Great thread! We grill all of the time in the summer... Grilled pork tenderloin is probably my favorite. I make a stovetop sauce with about 2 T. each minced onion or green onion, celery (optional) and mushrooms (also optional, but delicious) sauteed in olive oil, then add about 1/8 cup gluten-free mustard and a large sprig of fresh rosemary (you could...
  2. Of course you yelled at your neighbor! You wondered wether or not you were going to be poisoned again, and he rolled his eyes!!!! It was heroic of you to apologize ... Thanks for posting this because it makes me (newbie) realize that I'm not the only one to freak out a little when people potentially cross contaminate or verbally/visually minimalize...

    ARCHIVED Overwhelmed

I've been to the dark side and think I'm finally on my way out. It took me awhile to figure out that soy is another protein my body attacks. Mom doctor shopped for an answer to the peripheral...

Before knowing that I was gluten intollerant, I totalled my car by rear-ending someone at a stoplight on a busy highway after eating at a popular burger and shake place. That was shortly after...
  6. I'm new to the forum as well and greatly appreciate the wise words of encouragement from the previous posters on this thread. You give a wonderful gift of hope! I work with the elderly and a couple of RN's from the West Indies ... they all swear that the best laxative is about four oz. of HEATED prune juice once a day when you're having that problem...
  7. Hi, I've been gluten-free for a relatively short time and find that things get easier as time progresses. Here are some budget friendly gluten free ideas for your staples. White potatoes - Make 3 times the amount you will consume for a meal. I leave the skins on, cut them up and boil them. I refrigerate 2/3 of them for later, and mash the rest of...
