  1. I have recently after 3 years of being gluten free been able to add back dairy. I found a local organic dairy and it has been great. I have been eating their butter and milk. I was wondering if there is a way to easily make yogurt .
  2. Thats the million dollar question. I don't think that there is much you can do besides calling ahead and speaking to the chef but that is still risky. I haven't eaten out in 2 years. I just pack all of my own food and bring it everywhere. It's a pain but better than being sick for 2 weeks.
  3. Oven roasted herbed chicken, fresh green beans with butter and salt and pepper, cilantro and lime rice.
  4. Here are the symptoms of perimenopause. LIke the above posters said, it could be a reaction to another food. Corn kills me. It makes me feel as bad as gluten. But with that said, not everything is celiac related. My Dr. said that peri can last 10 years and can cause these symptoms. 35 Symptoms of Perimenopause Hot flashes, flushes, night sweats...
  5. I am around your age. I am having the same issues and I think it is perimenopause. It can cause all kinds of problems including those that you mentioned along with digestive issues.

I found a compounding pharmacy not too far from my house. They said that I need a RX for corn free Tylenol. My doctors office said corn is gluten free . It is but I can't handle corn. I get intestinal reactions from it almost as bad as gluten. How do we get an RX for this? Dr office told me to take Tylenol..duh..it has corn though. They said that I am...

I wish all of these so called experts would crawl under some rock and never come out. I need to quit being so gullible and believing crap I read on the net....Kind of like if you go to webmd and look something up, you can convince yourself your have some horrible disease when you simply had a headache..or whatever.
  8. A baked sweet potato with brown sugar and a hard boiled egg.

Ok, now i'm confused. I thought that coffee was safe. Since I can't find any safe tea, I drink coffee. Is coffee gluten free or not?
  10. Sorry that you are having a rough time of it! I hope you feel better soon. I would dump the rice chex. They are not made on dedicated equipment or a dedicated facility. Other than that, Google the BRAT diet.
  11. I just made these kale chips. They are delicious! Really easy too. Open Original Shared Link
  12. Yummy! Too bad it has cornstarch. Off subject but love2, how do you make homemade (soy free) mayonaise?
  13. I will check Suave out. Thank you. Funny you mention DH in ears. After I took Aleve (sals) I got the armpit DH and I had sores in my ears too and all along my hairline. Not on my scalp but hairline. It's scabbed over now but aghhh! Do you react to Aleve or Advil with your DH? Irish, Thank you! I am going to Google that right now.
  14. Here is what I use for Lemon, Lime and Orange. Open Original Shared Link
  15. Crustless pumpkin pie is good too! Look on the Libby's website. I just use water in place of the milk in it and it works every time.
  16. Irish, I haven't because it is so simple. All you do is take 2 cups of water and put it in a pot with 1 and 1/2 cups of sugar and use 4 cups of any fruit that you want. Put the fruit in a blender until it's all liquidy and then strain it if it's fruit with seeds like raspberries. Pour it into the sugar mixture and put it in an ice cream maker until it's...
  17. I have a heck of a time with shampoo. A lot of them give me sores on my head. Not sure if you can get DH on your head but they itch and ooze and scab over like DH so who knows. I have been using Johnsons Baby Shampoo and although it has never given me sores, I don't think it has enough conditioning in it.
  18. Perfect!

I only use Bertolli Olive Oil. Soy, Corn, Canola all make me sick. I don't eat any processed foods at all except spices, herbs and coffee. I have had gluten like reactions to canola oil. I avoid corn and soy like I do gluten.
  20. Baked chicken with some lemon and oregano, fresh string beans, oven roasted potatoes.
  21. I did have some DH problems but it's def. not corn or gluten related from the Aleve or I would be having bad intestinal problems. If you react to sals, you might get some DH flare up's from it. I really react with skin eruptions from sals. I was in pretty bad pain so I took it twice over a few days. Sometimes we have to pick our battles ya know! Aleve took...
  22. Whoever coined the phrase The Curse should have waited until menopause. This is the real curse. My periods have went from 28 days lasting 5 days and now they are every 21-22 days lasting 2 days and they are really heavy and painful. I am getting the sweating at night and joint and muscle pain after my period. What bothers me the most is the digestive issues...
  23. I just wanted to say that I tried Aleve which is corn free and I had no reactions to it at all.
  24. I make sorbets of all kinds. The last one I made was lemon. It's really quick and easy and great for the warmer weather. Cheap too.
