  1. I miss real beer.Gluten free beer is horrible.For me being Italian food used to be a huge part of my life and most of the foods I grew up with I can no longer eat.Sometimes I feel like I lost my identity.Nothing like a nice ricotta pie.
  2. Another guy here. Diagnosed at 41. Hardest thing for me as a guy with Celiac is not being able to have a cold PBR. Gluten free beer is horrible .
  3. Rib pain especially right side.Thats how it all started for me. Doctors checked out my liver,and gallbladder also. I was also diagnosed with costrochondritis. Turns out it was Celiac all along. Sounds like you are on the right track. Hope you start feeling better. My rib pain is very intermittent now nowhere near like before.

I think you should get tested.I had many of the symptoms you have and was diagnosed Celiac.As far as the gas,bloating,and gurgling go I am six months gluten free it is better but not completely gone.Everyone heals at different rates I am still waiting.Follow your DR. advice and get tested.Good luck.

  6. rib pain was my main symptom.It took the doctors(many doctors)fours years to diagnose me.I had to literally beg to be tested.I am only four months gluten free but the rib pain seems to be improving.I think it my be time for you to find a new doctor.Good luck.

  9. Udi's tends to give me problems also which I found strange.I have been eating rolls from a company called "Against The Grain".They are expensive but all of the rolls are great almost like the real thing.They give me no problems.

Newly diagnosed as Celiac.I really love chocolate I have been eating nestle toll house morsales because they say glten free on the package.I would love a Hershey bar on peanut butter cup.Are these safe?Its been 4 months since I had any of these.If anyone knows of any are bars that are safe that would be great.Thanks.

I had similar pain ander both my left and right ribs for four years.Was misdiagnosed with fibro and costochondritis.Correctly diagnosed October 2010 since going gluten free it is muched improved.For me rib pain ruled my day nobody could figure out what it was.I was even told it was anxiety.Celiac was to blame all along.

I was diagnosed with Celiac 4 months ago.I have similar rumblings and it is my most bothersome gastro symptom.It is for me part of my celiac symptoms others may have different?If possible I would consult a doctor.I think it could possibly be a symptom of other gastro conditions.I Dont think I would want to go gluten-free without conformation.Even 4 months...

  14. If you dont have a problem with wine from a box.I drink Franzia Chianti and Merlot the companies web site states they r gluten free. I think they taste great just wish I could find a good beer.

I too thought i had a normal life up untill four years ago.Seems surgery and related stress awoke a sleeping giant.It took four years and numerous doctors to diagnose me with Celiac.Before the diagnosis Iwas told I had Fibro,MS,Costrochondritis,Anxiety...You are not alone it takes some time to sink in.With time and diet things for me are slowly getting better...
  16. My wife searched high and low for gluten free cough drop. She Found a menthol cough drop and lemon honey soother. The brand name is Zand they state they are gluten free on the packaging.

  18. 3 months since my celiac diagnosis.Still get trapped gas and bloating.Following a strict gluten free diet also diary free.Maybe I have not given it enough time?Maybe it is going to take a while since it took the Doctors so long to find?It just drives me crazy like a thunder storm in side me.
