I saw on a post, you're from Middle Tennessee. I'm from West Tennessee, college freshman. I moved down here from PA, where celiac is actually pretty common. It seems like nobody has it down south..and that everything eaten is deep fried! Can you help me out?

I'll be a freshman in the fall and I was blessed enough to get a full-ride scholarship to a private university. I can live on campus for free and be exempt from the meal plan because of celiac disease. The university is in my hometown, just 5 or so miles from my house. Hi, I was wondering if some of you ladies could give some insight. I've missed two my periods and the last period I had was in mid-November. It concerns me, considering my periods are extremely painful w/ heavy bleeding, lasting always 7+ days then suddenly there's nothing. Bahaha :] I feel the same way...then again, we're not use to snow here in TN. I love the snow because it rarely snows here expect on the plateau. It was a senior year miracle! We got snow days lol right before exams, too. Big stress relief.

Hi! Welcome Ms. Skinny Chic :] I dealt with malabsorption from my diganosis date until after being gluten for a year and half. I really can't suggest anything but reinforce what everyone else has said. It's very difficult and takes time & patience to deal with. Hope the board proves useful.
