mytummyhurts replied to a topic in Gluten-Free Recipes & Cooking Tips

ARCHIVED If You Use Clearasil
mytummyhurts replied to jenvan's topic in Gluten-Free Foods, Products, Shopping & Medications
Yay! Thanks for the FYI. I just started using one of their creams because I've been getting acne. Even though I hadn't gotten acne for about 6 years. It worked really well. It's good to know that they are gluten-free. -
ARCHIVED Poop
mytummyhurts replied to Eliza13's topic in Post Diagnosis, Recovery & Treatment of Celiac Disease

ARCHIVED Blood Tests For Vitamins
mytummyhurts replied to Emme999's topic in Post Diagnosis, Recovery & Treatment of Celiac Disease
Thanks Shirley. That would be good to know as it's kind of a pain to keep going to the doctor and paying my co-pay everytime! It's getting spendy! -
ARCHIVED Blood Tests For Vitamins
mytummyhurts replied to Emme999's topic in Post Diagnosis, Recovery & Treatment of Celiac Disease
I was deficient on B12 and I've been getting weekly shots for a month now. It has helped a lot with my energy level! And it did seem like a lot of blood they had to draw. I remember they missed my vein and were moving the needle around in there. Ouch! Then they had to switch to the other arm to finish. I don't like having blood drawn anyways. (Like... -

ARCHIVED Poop
mytummyhurts replied to Eliza13's topic in Post Diagnosis, Recovery & Treatment of Celiac Disease
Ummm...I hope this isn't TMI, but I have a girl ? about the vitamins. I was taking them and my urine did turn like a flourescent yellow and then after a few days I got really bad feminine itching. So I tried stopping them and it went away. Does anybody know if vitamins could have been the cause? -
ARCHIVED Bath & Body Works
mytummyhurts replied to mytummyhurts's topic in Gluten-Free Foods, Products, Shopping & Medications
Thanks for the list, I'll have to go through all my stuff. Not looking forward to it though. -
ARCHIVED Peanut Butter
mytummyhurts replied to Eliza13's topic in Gluten-Free Foods, Products, Shopping & Medications
I also eat natural pb now. I use Adam's. The only ingredient is peanuts. I'm the same way, if I can find a natural substitute that tastes good and isn't too expensive then I will use that. There are already too many additives and crap in everything we eat that I prefer to avoid as much as possible. After the pb sits for a while it gets an oily surface on... -
ARCHIVED Anonymous Testing Because Of Insurance
mytummyhurts replied to flapeedap's topic in Celiac Disease Pre-Diagnosis, Testing & Symptoms
Would insurance go up? Does anybody know? I thought that my insurance was just a flat rate that everybody at my husband's work pays. It goes up every year, but I didn't think this was because of anything you had been diagnosed with. I know at my work when they went over insurance plans they could tell us how much we would pay and it only changed depending... -
ARCHIVED Permanent Celiac Cure Upcoming!
mytummyhurts replied to a topic in Related Issues & Disorders
I personally am a little uncomfortable with people "playing God." I think it's asking for disaster. -
ARCHIVED What Is Your Ethnic Origin?
mytummyhurts replied to Emme999's topic in Related Issues & Disorders
I'm a whole bunch of stuff, I couldn't even begin to write it all here because I don't even know all what. But I usually say I'm English and German when people ask. I think those are the major parts. I have auburn hair and hazel eyes. We had a post up a while back where somebody asked who was Irish because that seemed to be a heritage that had a lot... -
ARCHIVED Gluten Free Dog Food?
mytummyhurts replied to KaitiUSA's topic in Gluten-Free Foods, Products, Shopping & Medications
I've thought about this with my cats food before, because I've noticed when I pour it (I pour a large amount into a tupperware container so it's easier to dispense) a big huge cloud rises above it. I use Science Diet. Is that good? -
ARCHIVED Bath & Body Works
mytummyhurts posted a topic in Gluten-Free Foods, Products, Shopping & Medications
Does anybody know or have a list of gluten free products from Bath & Body Works? I use their Anti-bacterial Sun Ripened Raspberry soap as well as their Lavendar Aromatherapy Soap and their Cucumber Melon Body Cream. Thanks! -
ARCHIVED How Tall Are U?
mytummyhurts replied to a topic in Celiac Disease Pre-Diagnosis, Testing & Symptoms
Well, this one didn't get me either. But I didn't have any symptoms until after I stopped growing anyways. I am 5'10" -
ARCHIVED Your Most Favorite Gf Food?
mytummyhurts replied to jenvan's topic in Gluten-Free Foods, Products, Shopping & Medications
We have a brown tabby named "Brown" (the one in the picture) and a black tabby named "Black." They do go outside, but I wish they didn't. I'm worried they may get hit by a car or kill the cute birdies. Brown has caught a bunch of mice, 4 in just one weekend alone, but no birds so far. There's no way we could keep him inside though, after just a couple... -

ARCHIVED Your Most Favorite Gf Food?
mytummyhurts replied to jenvan's topic in Gluten-Free Foods, Products, Shopping & Medications
I like Pamela's Dark Chocolate Chunk cookies. I haven't bought many products that are specifically made to be gluten-free, but this is available at the grocery store I shop at all the time and it's one of my only treats now. -
ARCHIVED Salsa
mytummyhurts replied to GFManiac's topic in Gluten-Free Foods, Products, Shopping & Medications
I know that this post is supposed to be about non-gluten-free salsa. But I just wanted to say that I love Amy's salsa which is gluten-free. I like it even better than the stuff I was eating before all this. -
I eat Envirokids Peanut Butter Panda Puffs cereal (because I'm too lazy in the morning to do much). And then I have a banana and orange juice.

ARCHIVED Free Frostys This Weekend!
mytummyhurts replied to SharonF's topic in Gluten-Free Restaurants
I guess I won't eat them anymore, because it's better to be safe than sorry! And they're not so great that I will miss them. McD's are yummier anyways. I should just stop eating fries, because they are all bad for you regardless if they are gluten-free or not. -
ARCHIVED Free Frostys This Weekend!
mytummyhurts replied to SharonF's topic in Gluten-Free Restaurants

ARCHIVED Free Frostys This Weekend!
mytummyhurts replied to SharonF's topic in Gluten-Free Restaurants

ARCHIVED Free Frostys This Weekend!
mytummyhurts replied to SharonF's topic in Gluten-Free Restaurants
Yeah, we were there too today and it was really busy. I thought I had read somewhere that their fries were gluten free as long as they were cooked in their own frier. But I didn't see it on the list celiac3270 posted. Does anybody know? I hope they are, because I ate some.
