    I would ring manager and mention the incident and see what gets said. At most he can apologise to you and look into the matter. If they say gluten free on the menu, then it has to be gluten free. I agree there could be small writing somewhere on the menu. I think it's a bit much trying to sue the restaurant. I think people are too quick to sue everyone...

    We've been given a small booklet to fill in what bread she eats, how often she has fruit, veg and dairy products and what some of them are. We also have to fill in a food diary for 4 consecutive days before we see him/her. Hope they are good.

    Hi, I'm in not so sunny Cambridgeshire (UK). I'm relatively new here too. My daughter was diagnosed with celiac disease a few weeks ago and I was tested last week. I'm sure I have it too with all my symptoms and family history. Hope you enjoy it here as much as I am. Lots of great, helpful people

    Thanks so much for the replies. I yawned loads last night and my jaw clicked each time. Luckily it wasn't painful. Talking of chewing, if I have something chewy and I chew and chew my jaw will start aching really badly. This happened a few weeks ago, it was horrible. I'm so worried now.

    PS My ankles are the same, noticed today. I also have persistant lower back pain too. My jaw also clicks, happened since being a teen. I have to 'unlock' it if I come to yawn otherwise it locks and it hurts. I'm falling apart!

    Has anyone had problems with their joints/bones before they found out they were celiac? Test results not back til next week. Two years ago, my left hip started popping/clicking/grinding. A year later (last yr) I was diagnosed with an underactive thyroid. This year, my right hip started feeling like its grinding when I lift my leg and now my left shoulder...

    My daugthers date for the biopsy is finally through! 5th July ) Dietician is next week. Thank goodness things are moving now. She's currently on a high dose of laxatives for a week to clear her bowels as she's been blocked up continuously for months. My blood results should be back next week. My other ones were back today.     I'm currently awaiting my Celiac results. I'm almost certain I have it. My 9yr old has been diagnosed and a family history of bowel problems. I get severe stomach pains whenever I'm stressed.     I'd say ring dr to find out where to go from here. My daughters ttg was 128. Her dr felt it was enough to diagnose her especially considering that she is very symptomatic. But after speaking to another dr, they will be doing a biopsy. Regardless of that result, she will be going gluten free (after biopsy).

    My daughter was recently diagnosed. I just asked our local GP surgery for me and my hubby to be tested for Coeliac. I thought that that is all you ask for???

    All I can say is, good riddance to them! You don't need people like them in your life. At least now you know who you can count on when you need them Although its my daughter who's been diagnosed (my test was done today), my friend has been amazing.     It's sciatica. Your sciatic nerve is trap. I often get it right down my left leg. It's really really painful!

    TBH I've done a lot of reading on the subject (celiac disease) and have come across that it varies from person to person as to how quickly they react and what those reactions are. I hope you feel better soon x

    Hubby and I have had bloods done today as daughter is celiac disease. Probs run in my family but thats not to say he could also have it.     My daughter has often complained of blurry vision to the point that I had her eyes tested and they were fine. she does suffer migraines but they eyesight didnt develop into migraine, they seem to be separate. Migraine brings on flashy lights and not seeing properly (I get these too).

    A friend of mines son who's just 3 was diagnosed a while ago with toddler diahorrea but I don't know anything about it. Maybe have a search?

    So far we've just had a positive ttg of 128. I've googled everywhere to find anyone who had this and then went on to have a positive biopsy and managed to find two people, one child and one adult with exact same ttg and both had positive biopsies. Will post on here once we get results but biopsy date still not through.
