  1. I have a pumpkin and red lentil soup ready to go in the slow cooker.
  2. Not a good outcome today, now to wait and find out the next step.
  3. I just throw them together but they basically have lentils, grated carrot, grated zucchini, chopped onion, oil and flour. Last night I chopped up some baby squash with it as well.
  4. Lentil patties, steamed veges and mashed potato and pumpkin here tonight
  5. Hi, it's perfectly normal to feel overwhelmed at the beginning. I only bought products that said gluten free on the label to start with, along with fresh fruit and veg. I even stopped buying the milk we were using because it didn't state gluten free on the label even though it was. We're vegan so use rice milk, soy milk and nutmilk. As I became more familiar...
  6. Tonight we're going out to an event and we're taking anti-pasto (tomatoes, mushrooms, eggplant, zucchini, capsicum, olives) and rice crackers, but we're having a big lunch at my brother's today because it's not overly filling. It will be a fun night though.
  7. Hmm, I think they might be different here? The ones we buy are vegan and gluten free, made fresh in store at the little shop we go to where they make the gfv sausages and raw vegan, gluten free hazelnut cheesecakes and monkey ball (also raw vegan and gluten free) lunch box treats.
  8. I've only seen the cinnamon donuts and sometimes they are iced, are the cake donuts made like cakes? Sorry, trying to picture it, should go and google.
  9. I shop at Foodworks and they have everything with the regular ones, so the gluten free bread is in the bread section, the pasta is in the pasta section, the cereal is in the cereal section, and so on. It does make it easier because when I went to Coles last week I couldn't find what we needed, completely forgot that it was in the health food section, it...
  10. It's sold at Dan Murphey's up my way, I'm in North Queensland. It's not toooo bad, but I'm a XXXX girl myself so quite a bit different. It's a heavy beer, so 2 of those in 20 minutes knocked me a little while 2 XXXX Golds in that length of time are fine. I have to watch the intake a little more, and once you get used to the taste, it's not really that...
  11. My daughter sees a psychologist. She has anxiety along with Autism. The child psychologist is someone she can talk to about anything, it doesn't have to be bad stuff, she can talk about good things or anything she wants to talk about. It's someone she can be whoever she is when she's there, know what I mean?
  12. Vege lasagne tonight for us. It's already made, just need to heat and serve.
  13. Baked beans are gluten free and nutritional and can be eaten from the tin. Other tinned fruit and vegetables too.
  14. Thank you, and welcome!
  15. I admit to drinking quite heavily for the last 6 months, not every day but far more than ever before. However, all in all, I think things are going as well as expected.
  16. Well apparently the sausages were delicious. They are $8 for a pack of 6 so I'm not going to eat them, my daughter can have those to herself. We both had the same veges. We have a small health food store that stocks and sells a lot of shelf, fridge and freezer items, but they also have a chef who makes raw vegan, gluten free food like cheesecakes, little...
  17. We're in Australia so it's probably different here anyway.
  18. I approached our local one here and they were happy to do it but asked if I could check labels before they put them in gluten-free boxes. Hopefully it continues after we leave.
  19. She was diagnosed with a learning disability, she has a heart condition, Autism, bladder problems, pretty much most of what's on that list for WS but it's all been getting treated individually. It might be that she doesn't have it, and the symptoms are unrelated. Either way, the treatment and help she's getting won't change, it will just make it easier...
  20. No problems here either, just wipe it over and it's all good. I take the food in our own containers and put the whole container in the microwave then get her to eat from that to avoid touching anything. The toaster is the only problem, but I make toast using the frying pan when we're away.
  21. My daughter has just had a blood test to see if she has this. Anyone else been down this path before?
  22. I'm very glad to be out the other side. Will be feeling so much more free when the court case is over! Very much an understatement, many tears have been shed already so I try to down play it a lot more now that we're a little further away from when it happened.
  23. Thanks for the birthday wishes *feels special* Tonight we're having creamy vege pasta made with coconut cream, pumpkin, zucchini, tomatoes, mushrooms, capsicum, onion, sweet potato and chives, using San Remo rice pasta spirals. No idea about tomorrow night. It's the last night of the Winter school holidays, although it's far from cold here, I'm in...
