    Hey Amy! I'm from Louisville -- my daughter and son-in-law are students at U of K. The dietician I have here is EXCELLENT -- she knows SO MUCH about Celiac. If you strike out in Lexington, drive on over for an hour, and see this lady. I agree with you about the health food stores . . . I have found that even though we have a competitive market here...

    I think that I'm kind of "overly cautious" about Lyme disease because of an experience I had with one of my patients. I had seen her a week prior, and she was going on vacation -- camping with her husband and kids. She came in for her next appointment and I asked her how she was doing.     Gotta go with GFP on this one . . . this forum is an advertisement arena for Scott. That is fine -- it's his site. However, it is NOT a democracy. The idea of "open discussion" is not supported, and yes, if the moderators are specifically bad-mouthing one individual behind their backs . . .. well, that IS breaking one of the rules --just not publicly....

    I LOVE Freeda vitamins! I am taking their prenatal because I was low iron, but I also take their CoQ10 and their sublingual B12. My dietician gave me an entire PACKAGE of information about them . . . she recommends them because they are free of so many irritants.     Hi Amy -- Welcome to the board, and to the Wonderful World of Gluten-Free Living!!!!! I agree with the others . . . take it very slowly at first. I have only my DH at home, but he is also gluten-free. He does keep a few dinners "handy" to microwave just in case I'm not hungry, etc. We used to keep gluten-containing foods on a different shelf FAR below...

    It did just dawn on me . . . . she had me scared out of my wits, as well! I looked at my husband the other night, and said "Have I been tested for Lyme disease?" He said, "Multiple times. Why?" I told him because this girl had written this post that scared me to death. . . . Had completely forgotten about that. And I've been diagnosed with Gluten Intolerance...

    You actually get to purchase gluten-free products there? That would be GREAT! Even though we have a very competitive health-food store market here, they don't carry some of the really GOOD things . . . mamaw, it would be so nice to be able to purchase foods that we can't get here, either.     My urologist said that in order to prevent kidney stones . . . drink water with a wedge of lemon. The citric acid in the lemon prevents the calcium from forming crystals in the kidneys!
