  1. What a great thread!
  2. I always recomend AGAINST fast food joints for anyone with food issues, the CC risk there is much higher then regular resturant.
  3. If it worries you that much type it up in word first, then copy/paste it in to here. The software is used here for the forum does not have a built in spell checker option.
  4. Me niether, but till couple days ago I had not seen gluten-free Cocoa Puffs either, so who knows!
  5. There is GLUTEN FREE TRIX as reported by a few ppl onthis forum, but so far it has only been found in the small mini boxes, and not in the full sized boxes. The rumor out of Generl Mills is they are CHANGING the trix forumla, just like they just changed cocoa puffs to be gluten free. I personlay have eaten gluten free cocoa puffs, but have not seen the...
  6. IM NOT A DOCTOR THe reason it says (NEGATIVE) is thats the normal result, meaning if you sorce NEGATIVE you are normal but if you score POSTIVE, you have celiac disease. Make sense? You have a postive blood test, time to start the diet.
  7. IMO: I would say NO do not use it to ever make gluten bread, your playing russian rolluletet with 5 bullets in the gun if you do. And for NJGirl... yes you could, IF you can get it completely clean, every crumb, every spec of flour/etc.
  8. The way I see it, if your that worried about gluten, why the heck would you be eating at a fast food joint? You probably cant find much of a higher risk place to eat. Face it NO ONE goes to McDonald's for good clean healthy food. YOu go there to get crap quailty that happens in many cases TASTE good, and get it fiarly fast. Heck you cant even call it...
  9. Natural Flavoring should ALWAYS be a red flag, until you know what the source of the flavoring is. As for Vingar, there is more to Vingar then just what is distilled.. Alot of ppl have problems with YEAST, again, and I want to repeat this so that others that come across this thread months from now see it, just becuase you react to a food does not...
  10. Thanks!! LOL the little guy cant read or write yet, but he can already hijack a thread! He gonna go places!
  11. THANKS! Dont forget you can see lots of pictures of our little star via my site Open Original Shared Link
  12. I have been to many celiac disease related sites, but it the end THIS is the only one I visit regularly. 99% of the time if I need info, I can find it here. And 99% of the time its the most current information advailible.
  13. Jsut be careful! Plenty of glutenfull boxes on the shelves still.. this is breaking news!
  14. Stardust, If your reacting to somthing, it does not mean it has gluten in it. Many ppl on this site react to vingar, but its becasue they have a problem (and sounds like you do) with vingars and not gluten. Just like many Celiacs will react to MILK or NUTS or YEAST or some other food. It just a fact of life that many celiacs have more then one intolernce...
  15. Yes Trix does, but the rumor is they are changing the formula and removing the wheat, just like they did with teh cocoa puffs. Some ppl reported they have seen gluten-free trix in the little boxes.
  16. First, welcome to the forums! Please ask all you want. Im not tearing in to anyone, but some times the cold nature of the forum posts can seem like we are. The part you are missing is that distilling removes gluten. The yogurt is safe for celiacs and many here eat it.
  17. There was a hole thread on it, and I had read the same thing, yet several ppl had told me they were gluten-free, so I contacted them and got that email back and posted it to that thread. I have tried the one flavor my store carries, not bad... but at 5 times the price of Kroger brand and double the price of Yoplait, I can not afford them as often.
  18. Umm its like Legondary, but uses less letters
  19. Here is thier offical reply on the gluten question: So yes, the ARE gluten-free.
  20. All unless they list wheat in the ingredents, which I have yet to see. I love thier White Choloclate Rasberry one! Yoplait is a General Mills product, so you just need check the ingreents, BUT CC is always possilbe.
  21. Yes, most are. The best part about Kroger is you can call and talk to a real person firaly easy. We get ALOT of Kroger products here. If you cll in the middle of the day like 10a-3p you can get to a real dietian who at least when we called undertand the whole gluten issue. They have a large database to check, and usally give an aswer right away, but onece...
  22. I imagine taht CC risk is gonna be much higher in the first few batches taht come out and fall out to a more normal risk level with time.
  23. They are here! Just ate some! Here took pcitures LOL Box Front: http://www.vydor.net/gluten/box_front.webp Ingredients: http://www.vydor.net/gluten/cocoapuff1.webp This is soo cool! It is rare when a company makes a change and its BETTER for us! My store only had 2 boxes, and well I should say USED ot have tow boxes... Not seen any of the...
