  3. Not to sound like I am disagreeing wth Richard who is very knowledgable, BUT My sons only sympton at first was reflux/gass. Heres the thing, reflux/gass in a 5 month old is NORMAL in many cases. If the child grows out of it by 6-9months then you are NORMALY fine. My son was not dx'd till 18 months old. I hate to say it ,but I do not hink you have enough...
  4. WELP I did not get to the hot cocoa but i tired a few things... One in my strawberry bananananananana smoothie, I used it instead of stealing my son's tang. It added a intresting 3 falvor for it, I think it worked well. I think this will make a decent ice cream, but prbly simulare to the "light" of "fat free" ice creams, since milk fat is the secret...
  5. For now I am TRYING to be gluten-free and DF for long enough to get somewhat better. From there when I am not exploding in the toliet room and etc I can think about this clearer.... but prbly will try a gluten challange again. In the end, I have to be true to me, and I am a university trained statisticain and software engineer. To me testing is part of life...

Of course now I have a wonder in back of my mind if i am this senstive to diary... maybe my gluten challenges were contimanated by diary. Diary can cause all the same symptons from what I have read so far. BAH
  7. It was not even the mix, it was just hte choclate chips in the mix that said that. I cant be this senstive to dairy! ITs not nice!!!

  10. Okay well I did not last long LOL! I iced just one and ate it. It was VERY good. I think I like it beter then useing eggs/dairy. Its alot more mosit. I did 1/4th cup apple suace per egg, but did not add any extra baking soda. I used puple free minite maid oj, 100% pure one. The rest I did as per Pamula Cholocate BROWNIE mix directions for cake. ...

  12. I did use hot water, and i used my eletric mixer hehe. I made 2 quarts worth per its instructions.

  14. Welp its cooked. I am waiting for it to cool enough to put frosting on. I made it as cupcakes cause its eiaser with a toddler. The only thing is the mix says "may contian traces of milk" bah. Ah well I'll try these out and find a dif mix next time. I'll post exactly what I did later if it works LOL
  15. Absoluly, bake from scratch all the time. Got a freezer full of flours heh. DF/EF/gluten-free/NF is a new combo for me to try and work with though LOL
  16. The ONLY sorbet my Kroger carries is "Whole Fruit" or somthing like that. Its liek $4/pint. I am realy hoping this DariFree stuff that the REALLY AWSOME AND WONDERFUL JESERYANGEL is sending me will make good ice cream.   17. CC Risk is prbly much higher in the new boxes then it will be in say 6 months, but I have eaten 3 boxes so far without problems. JSUT HAVE TO BE CAREFL OLD BOXES ARE STILL ON THE SHELF.   19. yea, the FAAN recomends fruit juice so I picked up some OJ and natural apple sauce form Motts on way home. I'll post how it all comes out later today. THANKS!

  21. I agree with Duby,add water slowly and stop when it looks right. gluten-free baking realy is not much dif then regular baking, eplsy when using mixes. Recipes are rough guidelines, not commandments.
  22. Thanks! Wellyou can add vanilla extra to any baked good realy I like the idea of tryin apple sauce rather then oil. I'll have to pick up some 100% pure stuff today and try it.   24. There is NOTHING wrong with griling in the snow, rain, hail, heck if you can reach the gril, its grilling time! Fire is still the best way to cook, IMO. The falvor just cant be matched!
