  6. A quick google search showed, depends on where you live but not uncommon at all for wheat to be planted in oct-nov. I never knew this, guess i better pay attention what the farmer is doing in that field out back !
  7. Why would they plant wheat end of november? Around here we still have soy beans in the fields. If they plant wheat during the winter i need to be aware of it, i also think if you get wheat dust on moist lips or in your mouth when breathing it will make you sick. I got it from wild bird seed dust for a while till i read the lable.

  9. Me thinks the corn is like gluten, everyone has differant sensitifies to it. I just avoid the bio degradeable plastics. Think water bottles, those trays meat comes in an the soaker pads under the meat. Fruit an veggies at the grocery store are sprayed with a type wax to make them pretty an shiny, it also seals in the moisture an gives them a longer shelf...

Today i"m going to try an start making my own fermented veggies. I been reading about it, an its really supossed to multiply the vitimans content.
  12. All meat in the us is required to be washed with citric acid, thanks to the FDA. Even oraganic. Citric acid is also used as a pestcide an a anti odor agent. Makes me wonder how many processed foods people would eat if they could actually smell them! Once it penetrates the meat i don"t think it can be washed off, maby some but not all. Your local hfs usually...

  18. Lot"s of good info in this thread, i think i read my first post on this forum about 100 times. I suggest you read over this one quiet a few also. Maby even get hubby to read over it. 21. I wonder how bad your symptoms are when you eat gluten? For me it"s 6-7 days in bed with flu like symptoms, + another week for other symptoms. That makes it very easy to know i been glutened. If your symptoms are not so severe it would make it very hard to figure out whats causing the problem. It has taken me 10 months to figure out my corn senstivety. Like...
  22. For me the bloating didn"t go away till i removed all traces of dairy from my diet, I was also 2 months into gluten-free when i removed dairy as a sugestion from a fellow forum member.
  23. I think everyone"s differant to reaction time, for me it takes about 20-24 hours before the flu like symptoms hit. Made it really hard to figure out what i had ate wrong until i started keeping a food diary. I have a 5-7 day recovery time and then another week before all the other symptoms go away. I trust no one to make food for me, it"s just not worth...
