    I have a friend who does gluten free soley because of her child's facial ticks. She had them for 2 years and within 3 days of gluten-free and Dairy free...they were gone. She has introduced dairy back just a little and they are still gone. She swears it is gluten. Just thought I'd pass it along.

    I am "friends" with UDI bread on facebook and they posted today to watch Dr. Oz (Thursday). (So I hope it's true!) Apparently, they are discussing gluten-free stuff and Elizabeth Hasslebeck will be there, too. Just wanted to share.

    I just posted this on this forum and saw this question so I'll post it again! Chick Filet just announced a new gluten-free kids meal this week and if you choose lemonade or apple juice, then it should be dairy free, too. Open Original Shared Link

    Thanks guys- My daughter doesn't have any symptoms at all so it will be hard to know what affects her. She had a random blood test since she has Hashimotos thyroid and it came back positive. The biopsy showed "simplification" which I think it another term for blunting. Only one biopsy showed this, the rest were ok. So, we have caught it early. That's...

    Ok...start of week 2 for my 11 year old. I have a question. I was looking at the Luchables "nachos". I can't really remember if it was the Kroger brand or actual Lunchables now. But...there were no gluten ingredients but it was made in a factory that manufactered flour products. So obviously they couldn't guarantee anything. These would be so great...

    Ok, I know this is the dumbest question but I am only on day 2 of gluten free for my kids. I have all this frozen bread (Udis). I have never used frozen bread before.     I said she didn't have symtoms because 4 years ago when they found her thyroid problem, the endo doctor tested her for celiacs. She was negative in her blood. But I knew they went together so I had her retested last month. I am just in denial I guess. I told my husband what you guys have said and we might cancel the 2nd opinion. OR...we might keep it...

    I totally know what you are having as I play a doctor on the internet. LOL But seriously, look up PVCs. Premature Ventricular Contractions. I have had heart surgery for them. Now, don't freak out. I had them every other beat 5 years ago at age 32. They acted up for about a month and the doc fixed me! Most people have them but not everyone feels them...

    My dd just diagnosed this week and someone told me to buy the scanavert (one word) app for my iphone or android. It is $2 a month or $9.99 a year (I think). I did it for the first month. It has been great to take to the store and even scan food at my mother in laws house. You can do it with any main allergy. I did gluten free and tree nut free. I just...

    I have a question... I have an 11 year old daughter who has been diagnosed with celiacs this past week. We are skeptical of the decision and even the pediatrian has asked that I get a second opinion. What would you do? She has zero symtoms. I mean none. She only had the blood work done because she has Hashimotos thyroiditis and sometimes they go together...
