  1. We, of course, will just have to paint it pink & purple though. I think most 6 year olds would put in the same request.
  2. Wouldn't that be nice. Isn't anyone in here near KY?
  3. How are you feeling now? How did your night go?
  4. We love the cheese pizza. We doctor it up with lots of pepperoni & cheese & it is pretty tasty.
  5. Well, I took my daughter to meet her 1st grade teacher last night. All went well. None of her friends are in her class but like she said that just means a whole new group of friends this year. I'm glad she is okay with everything. Last night my husband gave her his school desk from when he was her age. She just looked so cute sitting in it. I was touched...
  6. I have a little nibble here & there & before you know it.....oops, its gone. Well, I am off to my daughters school to drop her supplies off. She is in the 1st grade officially!!!!!
  7. Mine is Breyers & it is yummy!
  8. I'm having some Mint Chocolate Chip ice cream right now. I never was a fan but my husband turned me on to it & I am hooked now. I'll bet he wonders sometimes where all his ice cream goes.
  9. Maybe we should all do the same.
  10. Actually I am Susan W. It was very quick skimming. I'd say I cheated & missed pages of course. Probably lots of pages. My idea of skimming is very broad. Ha!
  11. My name is Susan. I am an Accountant & an Assistant Food Service Director for 41 schools. Oh, I also drag race with my husband. Strange combo, huh? I'll let you decide then what I should be in this town. Ha! Oh, and yes I got caught up in all those pages. I skimmed through though. I don't know how I would ever have enough time to read it all...
  12. That's even a good idea for my husbands birthday. Some of the gluten free cakes are shall we say not the best in the world. Thanks for the idea. It should have been obvious but I guess when you think birthday you think cake.
  13. I attempted to follow the other thread & got caught up in it. It is like a soap opera or something. I just keep reading. Every so often I actually pipe in but maybe if I had a job in this town....I'd have more to say. Ha!
  14. Well, he started taking melatonin about 2 weeks ago & has been pretty much sick since then. I know he got glutened by some bacon during that time but now he is sick again. Could that melatonin be doing it? Any thoughts?
  15. I'm still stuck on the cookies & bbq sauce. I thought you were dipping. Ha!
  16. I added you on my aol list Carla. I have several others on there from this site. Maybe I'll drop you a line if I see you on.
  17. Wow! I'm off the internet for a day or so & already I'm behind 20+ pages. Pardon me if I don't catch up & just join in here. Ha! Hey, do you any of you all have aol. We could get chat some that way. I'm swittenauer1 on aol.
  18. As of 6/29 it is no longer gluten free per Clan Thompson's website.
  19. I'm not 100% sure of the source of gluten that got my husband so badly this time but I am thinking it may be the Jimmy Dean bacon that you buy in a box that is microwaveable. Can anyone help me in finding out? I wrote Jimmy Dean but am waaaay too anxious to wait to hear.
  20. I haven't seen the article. Where can I view it?
  21. I completely understand what you are saying. Hopefully, someone will have some insight.
  22. I don't think he meant he was going to do it if he only got a little reaction because I have been curious of the same thing if the more gluten you eat the worse the reaction.
  23. I was kind of wondering the same thing. My husband has been glutened before from cross contamination & had a bad reaction but this time he ate 3 slices of bacon that was loaded with gluten & has had the worst reaction ever.
  24. We just buy Amys gluten free cheese pizza & dress it up or frozen pizza crusts of any gluten free type of been ok so far. I guess I'm not a baker.
