    LOL....its so true!! They wont do anything.....Kaiser sucks. When I got down to 94 lbs.     I dont EVER read anything from quackwatch. Heck.....they say that mercury in amalgams is "safe". Ummm....I *know* first hand that its NOT. They also say that MSG is safe...as far as I'm concerned anyone who takes quackwatch seriously could be putting themselves at risk. I dont trust that site or anything they have to say. I go to BioSET....

    I'm not sure what to think yet either but from all that I've been able to find online it seemed like alot of people have benefited from the treatment. I had found a site where people who have Lyme give ratings on various treatments they've tried. One girl said she had become so intolerant to everything that she couldnt leave the house and could barely eat...

    Maybe it depends on the practitioner who's doing the testing and treatments. The lady that I see has an excellent reputation and has had great success in clearing people of their intolerances. My M.D. sent me to her for this reason. He said she has helped him with other patients as far as reducing their intolerance and toxicity levels so that he can better...

    Karen, I've been doing this type of testing/treatments for a couple months now....I do BioSET. I have severe toxicity and food and chemical sensitivities. My Dr. sent me to this lady because she's suppossed to be the best in the country for this kind of stuff. He has alot of faith in her.....says she's been able to help people all over the US and Canada...

    I'm back from Bioset. My appt. went well....it was a much longer appt. because she had to retest everything. I have alot to share but I'm WAY tired right now. I think I might go to bed soon.

    Carla, It would be smart to get the kids tested. The LLMD should be able to tell you how to proceed. I think they could all have it if you had Lyme during all of your pregnancies. I think eventually something could tip the scales and one of the kids could start developing symptoms. It sucks to think about it....but at least you will know what it is and how...

    Two weeks for me but the lab is right by my Dr.'s office....it might have made things a little quicker.

    Laura....I'll send you mine too...I only have like 2 pics when I was totally thin. I wasnt doing much at the time so there was no reason to break out the camera....I certainly wasnt in the mood for posing for pics. I think I was under 100 lbs. for about a year. I only have been able to maintain my weight since I stopped taking supplements at the beginning...

    I wasnt able to participate in the rally but I'm trying to do my part....for myself and for everyone else who has Lyme Disease. I'm hoping that anyone who reads this post will take a moment to sign this petition so that those of us with Lyme will have a much better chance at recovery. The new restrictions that only allow for 21 days of antibiotic...

    OMG.....With everything going on I totally forgot to post the link to this petition.....which is very very important to me and to *everyone* who has Lyme. Please, please please, take a moment to sign. This is about our right to receive treatment that will make us well again. As it stands right now they are restricting Dr.'s from prescribing anything...

    Helena....yes, its possible for that to happen. Symptoms may appear, disappear and reappear at various times. Some people who didnt know they had Lyme were able to get it under control with diet, lifestyle changes, supplements, etc. I know of people who have fought it and won.....only to have it come back later. They didnt know they had Lyme but were sick...

    Monica, I didnt have a noticeable rash....I also never saw a tick on me. One day about a week after returning from Tahoe I woke up with 105 fever, massive headache, fatigue and other flu-like symptoms. I felt better after a couple of days. I just thought it was the flu. Awhile after that I noticed a wierd bite on me with a tiny ring around it....nothing...

    My mom brought home an electric heater from her work and I tried it out last night. I reacted to the freakin thing as soon as I flipped the switch.     Carla, you were feeling really bad for awhile there when you started the supplements, saunas, salt, etc. You could have been herxing and everything you did could have helped the test results since you got tested right around that time. I cant do garlic at all.....I'm much more reactive than most people so my treatment isnt gonna be as easy. ...

    Carla...the BioSET lady already tested salt and I was ok with some and not ok with others. I wasnt ok with sea salt but table salt was fine.....go figure. I dont think I wanna be taking table salt though. Were you doing the salt/vit c protocol or just taking salt?? I definately cant do Vit C....its a major problem for me and its still showing up...

    Loraleena, good luck with your testing. Let us know how it goes. I dont know if you've been following the OMG thread but theres alot of info about Lyme there. So far I believe Carla is the 5th person on that thread to get a Lyme diagnosis. Its not the best diagnosis in the world but we are rejoicing because its an ANSWER. For me it was the answer...
