  1. The new content finder isn't working for me. ..
  2. I'll try to make a chinese beef thingy with chopped beef, onions, gluten-free soy sauce (for realz), black pepper, garlic and carrots. Grain free diet is working very well insofar, and I still got to eat tons of yummy stuff, and I go throughout the day with my stomach flat as a ruler. The constipation has not yet resolved completely, but I will wait and...
  3. Since your mother has celiac, the chances you have it too are kinda high... Re-do the blood test and do an endoscopy just to be sure. These tests are not always accurate, so even if the results are negative, you can remove gluten to see how it goes. But hang in there and keep ingesting gluten -- otherwise the tests won't work. Good luck.
  4. Oh oh, and I forgot to add: a chocolate smoothie. Only whole cocoa powder, a banana, ice cubes and brown sugar.
  5. Baked potatoes and boiled chicken,
  6. I had cramps and a D attack this Monday morning... And the different thing I ate was a bloody "gluten-free" mini pizza crust. Yeah, right...
  7. I considered yeast overgrowth, though sugars don't seem to bother me -- but hell, who knows? First off I'm going grain-free (started yesterday and feeling flat as an ironing board), then I talked to my mother about going on the paleo diet for some time, since it's not very different from what I'm eating now. Maybe I will go sugar-free and paleo (paleo is...
  8. I tried out the innocent until proven guilt route, but boy, how I regretted it. Unfortunately, no one gives a damn about the gluten free laws around here so I just stick with whole foods. It's not that hard after some time...
  9. Chicken breast and sautéed onions, along with peppermint tea. I consider this a very good day because I didn't end it bloated. But I ate so little...
  10. My symptoms are not very severe and don't last long: bloating, gas, bad feeling on my stomach, some yawning and D. But as of late has been only bloating along with uncomfortableness and constipation. It never lasts more than a week... Though now it's everyday, and I just don't know what can be the source... So I will get an appointment with a gastro...
  11. I will definitely try going grain-free for a while... I don't eat that much grain anyway: I only eat two tbspoons of rice at lunch and corn couscous once a week. The bloating usually appears after lunch which is when I eat rice (and the most, as well). I don't eat many vegetables, to be honest. I stick to beans, potatoes, eggs and meat. And fruit juice...
  12. Still constantly bloated and now, turns out I get constipated as well. Thinking of going grain free... So meat with potatoes and carrots plus guava juice it is.
  13. It's kind of a joke I saw once: a person asked why eleven isn't called onety-one... Also "!!11!1!" usually means excitement so there you have internet inside jokes 101.
  14. I had... Pizza!!111!!1Onety-one. Ok, the crust looked and tasted like a giant round cracker, because it didn't grow and became fluffy like actual pizza, though it tasted well enough and it wasn't bad to eat. It just didn't feel like pizza. But it's gluten free and dairy-free, not to mention the healthiest thing I could find, so it's definitely a treat...
  15. I'm just trying not to go mad right now... I'm top notch frustated. I'm six months in the gluten free diet, and while I gave too many slips in the first few months because I trusted too much on labels and far too little on my body telling something was wrong, I engaged on a whole foods diet. No eating out, no processed foods. For a person my age, who has...
  16. Sweet potato chips and corn couscous. Tummy is incredibly upset... Really, I have to put in my head I can't eat too much of anything /head desk
  17. Baked potatoes with chicken breast and beans.
  18. Homeopathic medicine. Maybe it's just the placebo effect, though at least it tames my symptoms (they are not baaad, per se, just bloating and uncomfortableness, though for someone who spent nine years with constant stomach cramps and vomiting, anything can be pretty unsettling). Also, I tend to juice fast for eight hours or so and it usually works well...
  19. I got iffy with raw eggs at first as well, though my sister adds a raw egg to her smoothie every morning and never got ill from the brand we usually buy... Maybe I'll ask her to taste the ice cream first Mine are indeed cage free, at least.
  20. Four At any case, I have a recipe for cake without eggs ready to go if they give me troubles.
  21. From what I could gather, there are several kinds of sweet potato. I used one whose skin is purple and the flesh is white/yellow-ish, not the orange flesh sweet potato. I couldn't find that one here... Maybe you could try new types out? And for tonight, I'll have a chocolate cupcake (yaaay) with almond spread (double yaay) and a tiny slice of passionfruit...
  22. I had. Only when I'm glutened now, though... This is how I know I ingested gluten and not some random other thing I can't eat (I have several other intolerances: coffee, honey, spice and everything nice, also cherries :/).
  23. Sweet potato chips and beef. Why didn't I buy sweet potato before? It's freaking delicious.
  24. While I think orthorexia might be a real thing, it doesn't apply to people who do it for medical reasons. I myself don't think I have a problem for refusing to being ill for the rest of my life. I have my own problems with food, though restricting my diet a bit in order to be healthy certainly isn't one of them.
  25. Streangely enough, the stomach bug from last week was exactly that I was eating a lot by lunch and getting bloated until the end of the day... Which wasn't so comfortable if I ate lunch leftovers for dinner. Anyhow, tonight I plan to eat saut
