  1. Boiled chicken wings. Turns out I can't handle big meals and it just leaves me bloated for the rest of the day, so I'll refrain from eating a lot in one sitting.
  2. Fish and chips Oven fries are definitely my comfort food now.
  3. Yeah, I will try to make nut butter again as soon as I put my hands on a good food processor... Maybe I should also add a scale to my shopping list, it seems.
  4. My blender doesn't do nut butter. I can't get past the "sticking to the jar walls" part. Also, turns out changing almond flour to rice flour on a bread recipe doesn't really work, so...
  5. I'll consider the pizza a treat After I found out I can't make bread nor nut butter at home, I'm sort of out of options.
  6. Today wasn't a good day for cooking. I couldn't find unshelled almonds so I bought ones with shells and cut myself four times trying to unshell them with a knife, only to realize I had a nutcracker at home. Then I didn't unshell enough to make flour to the bread recipe I wanted to try, hence I tried to make butter and it didn't work, so I added chocolate...
  7. Corn couscous with cinnamon and brown sugar, plus a glass of passionfruit juice and an omelet seasoned with olive oil and oregano. Oh, oh. Also trying to reintroduce dairy to my diet and ate a grilled thin slice of cheese to see if I can handle it.
  8. To be honest, I don't see why blended almonds would be hard for a gut to digest if it can digest whole almonds. Not to mention, you can have almond butter which is also blended almonds. I think you should ask your doctor for further explanation about this matter, because it just seems really off.
  9. Surprise, surprise! I found a store specialized in selling gluten free goodies (very rare around here) and if the food they sell is indeed gluten free, I can't tell -- I only left with two mini pizza crusts, the only thing there without artificial sweeteners (maltitol, sorbitol, aspartame) and chemical additives. I was looking forward to leave the whole...
  10. Corn couscous and scrambled eggs, plus a serving of beans and acerola juice.
  11. I would try to keep a normal diet for a while to see if it really was caused by the keyboards. If not, I would pay attention not only to the prunes, but also to the mac and cheese. I dunno, you just seem to eat it a lot and for something to bother you this badly, might not be something so new...
  12. It sucks, definitely... Being bloated is just plain yucky. In fact, bloating cause me to give up bread three years ago, way before my gluten intolerant diagnosis. I consider it a very bad omen. Thanks Merlin I never went farther than 3 months of pregnancy
  13. Made some baked french fries this time A new week started, I may have two dishes with potatoes again. The fries went along well with grilled chicken breast and some lettuce.
  14. Oh yes. Especially because I don't have serious symptoms and can have small portions of gluten without reacting. Bloating? Gas? That's normal, you are just full. Soft stools? It will pass, it's completely normal. My parents won't test me for Celiac Disease because it just seems like a mild to strong intolerance though I wonder what it...
  15. No agave around here (really, there isn't even a Portuguese name for it, I looked up), but plenty of brown sugar around my house.
  16. I'll definitely try that, sans honey. Yep, my tummy doesn't like it
  17. I tried to make some baked carrot sticks (as in baked french fries, only that... carrot fries ) though carrots without something to cover up the taste other than salt and olive oil aren't exactly my thing... That, and a green salad with beef. My stomach is still rather grumpy and upset, I think I have a stomach bug... Thank Merlin I'm recovering
  18. Fish. Finally can eat again without cramping due to gas, so meat it is!
  19. Steamed carrots with lettuce. I should've eat (eaten?) some chicken breast along with it, but my tummy does not agree with the idea... Bleargh, healing is hard.
  20. After spending the whole afternoon fueled by only three super small cupcakes, I ate baked potatoes, brown rice and a chicken wing. With a banana, a scrambled egg and caj
  21. 7 or something really close to that...
  22. No. This was only the first batch. I made 21 really tiny cupcakes But you can always multiply the recipe by two or by three. The original recipe was for an entire cake and I reduced it to a third because of my leaky gut.
  23. I will try that, for sure! Yeah, dairy does no good to me, but I already used coconut milk in recipes and felt just fine.
  24. No, I don't do photosynthesis. I eat while I am at home.
  25. But my juice is just the blended fruit with water... Bartfull, I don't think I'm salicylate sensitive. My father told me the other day I have a leaky gut since a child and it does cause random intolerances... Though I will sure pay attention to sals now, to see if it might have something to do with it. And yes, everything noted down. Olive oil...
