  1. tl;dr: I was wondering how likely it is I don't, in fact, have Celiac Disease and that this severe hayfever has caused the false positive? I did the blood test (IGA, etc) for Celiac Disease and tested positive. This was about a year ago. I then did the endoscopy and colonoscopy with multiple biopsies which tested negative. I then went on a Gluten-free...
  2. Sitting in the allergist's office waiting for the follow up. Gotta love 4g to keep you occupied. I've gone from one waiting room. to a smaller waiting room. Yay.

  3. I wanted to thank you all for your replies as I have been MIA for quite some time. I've seen the Allergist and have a severe, chronic form of hayfever. I also have a sinus infection to boot. Thanks again for your replies - they really encouraged me to get to the Allergist asap. I'm starting allergy shots soon.
  4. I had allergy testing done which you can see my results here. I actually need help looking at them by the way, if anyone knows how to read these results. My Allergist told me to take some Zrytec and if I didn't see any improvement, go back and see him. Well, the last thing I thought of was allergies. I moved from Indiana to AZ about 2 or so years ago, and...
  5. I found this product at: Open Original Shared Link via an Open Original Shared Link. It is a pretty well rated product and is full of minerals - though some of them look suspicious to me...But I might just give it a try! I was wondering if anyone has ever tried something like this and if it helped them? Or if you have an opinion about the product? What...
  6. Isn't weird how the mail man/woman knows everyone's business? Talk about having the complete picture.

  7. For anyone curious, the probiotics I am taking are called Jarrow 50 Billion (no 5 billion): Open Original Shared Link I also found out that a previous antiobiotic can change the bacterial makeup of the colon, so that could be it instead...
  8. He did mention possible Crohn's and they're waiting on the biopsy results, but he said that the area he was suspecting for Crohn's did not look inflamed. Also, nothing looked inflamed except for a scattered area of my descending colon. Which with 2 opinions from GI doctors say it doesn't look major. I am curious about another aspect I've been looking...
  9. Has anyone ever experienced significant increase in allergies after moving to a new area?

  10. This is very strange. He did do a stool sample and found absolutely nothing - including no H. Pylori and no so-called "too much good bacteria" was found either. I honestly think he is throwing something at me so he can prescribe me an antibiotic and not deal with me. If he thought it was bacterial, why hasn't he done the breath test? And no such test...
  11. Picking up my tens unit. Let's hope this thing actually helps.

  12. I recently had another Open Original Shared Link and Open Original Shared Link. Previously, I showed signs of an inflammed descending colon. Now I am showing that there is too much good bacteria in my descending colon, which I am having tightness and pain - which has worsened. I have lost a ton of weight. I started probiotics as recommended. I deal mainly...
  13. Well, I am going through the authorization process for an Occipital Nerve Stimulator with my insurance. Please wish me luck!

  15. After months of tests, including HIDA scan, blood work, small bowel series, etc I have left my supposed "Celiac Doctor" (my GI) and I am looking for a second opinion. I am totally confused by my results. My GI told me it could be Crohn's, it could be IBS, and even said, "It could be anything!" He gave me a pamphlet and that is it. He hasn't told me that...
  16. Like Betsey, I am wondering about this diet. Can anyone tell me where I go to start this diet or is the diet explained step-by-step online or in a book? Thanks for the help!
  17. I was wondering if anyone has tried it? It keeps getting mentioned all over the internet, wherever I go. I was wondering if anyone had experience with it for long durations or if it has helped anyone at all? I am having gallbladder problems and diagnosed with Celiac Disease. Now my GI doctor is telling me, "Well, could be Chron's as indicated by your...

  20. I was diagnosed with Celiac Disease but what also surprised me was the multiple food allergies I now have. I asked my Allergist how potent my food allergies are. He simply said, "I wouldn't worry about it. I'd focus on just eliminating the Gluten." So, like a fool I trusted this doctor. I find out that these food allergies (or more likely, intolerance...
