Dunkin Donuts French Vanilla ground coffee isnt gluten free. The label just says "Natural and Artificial flavors" but I reacted to it several times. I couldnt figure out what was making me ill so I emailed and got a CYA explination that their flavored coffee can have gluten.
Can you post the reply, Please? I am not denying your illness, but often times, we react to different things. It does not always mean that a product or a drink contains gluten.
But it would make sense that there would be a CYA statement, when you buy a cup of coffee in a Donut Shop.
I would like to see their response.

My knees are my barometer to the pending forcast .

As Jess mentioned earlier and as I added my "two cents worth", venturning from thread to thread is VERY slow. Perhaps, it's storm related.

Spell check on Firefox is now working. Thank you!
The whole site, and individual threads load very slowly. I haven't seen this difference in other forums so I don't think it's me. Slow, as in: click on a thread, open a new tab, go to Yahoo, find a story to read, then check to see if C.com has loaded.
Same here. Very slow.

I was wonderting how you all plan on handling Halloween in order to keep it gluten-free?
This is my kids first Halloween gluten-free, and our plan is to trick or treat, and let the kids keep some of the safe foods, and trade the rest in to a local dentist who buys kids' candy back from them according to it's weight... I'm assuming my boys will keep the light stuff like potato chips.
I also told them that if they wanted to trade all their candy in, I would buy them their own bag of gluten-free chips or nachos.
Happy Halloween.
No need to deprive your kids. Here is a safe list of candy that they can have. You might want to swap out some of your own safe candy for their stash they get Trick or Treating, or pick through it (for the food pantry
)

LOVE the dentist idea, too.

In Michigan... A road was closed when I was out. A lot of strange debri in the road. Power has been flickering.
When was the last time Michigan had a hurricane!
-
The Outer Banks got slammed. It's so so sad. Sandy was going very slow and just lashed the beach. We, 60 miles inland got rain for three days and moderate winds. I've never felt so lucky, with such destruction all around me.
Patti has just lost power, cable and all. Hopefully Sandy is "truckin'" and will leave quickly.
(I wish I knew how to post photo's from FB here)
Be safe out there.

!!!!!!
There is flooding in downtown Norfork VA
Yup, tunnels are closed and lots of street flooding.
-
We are doing well and will be in the clear by morning. The Outer Banks, I am afraid did not fare well.
And don't forget propane for the grill. It may be your only source for cooking everything in your freezer. During Isabel, we had no power for two-three weeks. The neighbors took turns cooking meals out of our freezers for the neighborhood (on gas stoves). It's amazing how creative you can get.
Stay safe my northern friends.

When clicking on the box (with the pencil through it) to find new posts since my last view, there seems to be an exaggerated delay.
Spell check would be great option, that I depend upon.
And I too would like a darker print image.

Friend of mine in North Carolina posted this picture - Frisco Pier has taken some hefty beatings from past storms but looks like this was the last straw - Sandy looks to be living up to all the hype -- stay safe everyone!!!
Yes, the Pier in Frisco is cut in half. South of the Oregon Inlet Bridge are cut off and highway 12 has been breaches in numerous places - with 24 hours to go.
Winds here are not so bad but we're pretty wet. (Lots of pictures on FB)
Stay safe.

Thanks goodness the weather is moderate. There is nothing worse than post hurricane with 90 degree temps and oppressive humidity - to clean up your yard.
A battery powered radio would be helpful, too.

Maybe I should look for the other one? Which ones do you use, Lisa?
I don't currently, but early on it was problem for me. I'm sorry, I can't remember the brand. But I was able to tolerate it after a couple of months.
I have no doubt that it was the dairy....just my personal experience.
-
If you are new to the diet and still healing, I could recommend a pro biotic that is dairy free, at this time.

The article submitted was quite a bit void of facts. Here's additional information on Jennifer:
Open Original Shared Link
She was diagnosed and had been gluten free for four years now.
-
OK - I know I will get killed for stating this but WTF?
If she is following a gluten-free diet why wouldn't she be able to work?
Sounds like it is indeed a negotiating ploy that CBS called her out on.
Just my opinion.
I had that same thought as well.
