I found this article on PubMed(again.....I'm a frequent flyer there
) !!
It's nice to know SOME GI's/pathologists are trying to figure out how some of the celiacs are being missed. Of course, we knew it all the time. Still nice to know some of 'em are open minded and not just giving it up.

Yeah for you Ann to keep this topic open. I wish you were closer.
Good information for newbies to take to their doctors.

Thanks Rob, I am sure that was helpful to alot of people.

Amen to that!
Good to see you Grant.

you need to drag what evers in the way out of the way to see spell check again...make sure you unlock it first, by right clicking on empty space [not on a button]
Betty thank you and your son. We just got some house guests and I am sure that they can help me, but thanks for your time.

are there any new buttons on the tool bar? if so could be just hiding
Yes, it's hiding.
-
I'm talking theough my son whos trying to help you, I know nothing about computers lol he wants to know:
Is the whole toolbar gone or is the spellcheck button still there but not working?
tool bar here, spell check icon not there.
-
How were you using a spellchecker?
mines built into my google toolbar
Mine was also, just poof and gone. I'm desperate.
-
Yeah, I know...I am not computer friendly.
I have a Dell and my spellcheck is disabled. Without it you will not hear a peep out of me! I usually don't push buttons that I don't know what they do.
And tech assistance to retrieve it would be a big help.
Please.

Yes, we all must be careful about posting incorrect information because the health of others depend on it. It's alway important to know that companies can change their ingrediences. So reading labels is the key to success.

This site has every feature known to man, and yet it is so non-intuitive I can't figure out how to do a simple reply. This is a test before I type another long reply that gets lost.
Sucess!

I have DH, and thought I had figured out the gluten-free diet without a hitch...but...I started drinking "Tab Energy" and right away began breaking out! Darned coca-cola, anyway! Has anybody else had this reaction?
Humm...don't know about TAB, but all cokes and 7-ups are gluten free.

Make some more of those brownies and celebrate.

Dear Confused,
So am I.
My husband was dx with Crohns and Celiac in Jan. by biopsy. He has been gluten-free since that time.
He was transported by ambulance last Fri. to hospital and stayed until yesterday (Wed). This was a Crohns attack. His G.I. doc came in yesterday morning and released him, wants to see him in 2 weeks. talk about new meds...but he wants him to go back to gluten until his appointment and do some blood work at that time. Can anyone tell me if this is normal although he had the positive biopsy? I am afraid he will get sick going back on gluten.
Thank you for any comments.
Frogster
Going back on gluten makes no sense to me what so ever. With a positive biopsy for Celiac, he will get sick. Sorry that you have been having such troubles.

Just want to add HerbOX Chicken and Beef bouillon is gluten free. Use it all the time.

I don't think so. You might want to ask Scott about that though Paula. I'd hate to see you dropped back down to 0. Happygirl and Momma Goose both used to have different names, so they'd be able to tell you.
Hey Jerry - I think you should change your name to TheJerry. Because really, what other Jerry is there?
Nancy
Yup, I maintained my senority number. Sorry, Jer.

Sounds exciting but its a pretty boring job, Basically I would draw up doses of small isotopes for hospitals for testing and treatment. I send over part of the dose for quality control, its packaged and shipped with a driver. Typical night was 350 to 499 doses throughout the state . Then downtime and the next day emergency doses are drawn and shipped. The only interesting part was once when I put the needle through my thumb and received a vacation due to me being too hot to work and the other time my shirt was reading too hot and I had to take off my shirt in the lab and just wear my lab coat home, thankfully I still felt somewhat covered up in a lab full of men lol!
Wow, you mean there is a world out there other than my small circle. Light bulb... Cancer patients.?

Walter:
Do a food journal, you're a teacher it should not be an issue.
Get one of those ugly composition books and do a daily journal. One page do breakfast, lunch and dinner...snacks included. Every page is a daily entry.
That is the best I know..to help you get to the root of your issues.
See what happens.

I am so jealous of your life. I really havent decided what i want to do when i grow up, I love being an mom but i need so much more. Hubby always tells me to volunter, but im not sure were i want to volunter.
I do have my hospice education, but i always got so attached to the people. I also did classes to be an domestic violence counselor, but i dont even know if that is still good or i would need new training. I think voluntering is the most rewarding job. of course after being a mom. lol

PAULA: With multiple degrees, you can do what ever you want. Can you spare a degree and sent it my way. It's just paper, hey, I can make it work.

Im a sahm now but I was a nuclear pharmacy technician before kids.
Being ignorant on the subject, but sound scary to me..a nuclear pharmacy tech. And what does a NPT do? Save us, I presume.

I can't comment on the running issue. But, most older people that I know talk about their bathroom issues, and you have exhausted that issue!
Yeah, ya look buff and earned some bragging rights. After running, I guess you can take up knitting, I understand that's a rush.

Sounds so good. I'll put it on my list.

I would love to job-shadow each and every one of you.
Let me regress 30 years:
Went to college and had fun and dad said "Nope, secretarial school for you" (does anyone even remember that term)? Then went to work for a National Political Party in DC, to remain nameless, and raised money from 90 year old widows...and quit because of it.
But every Sunday during the summer, I flew (flight crew) in a 1929 Consolidated Fleet Bi-Plane in a 90 minute airshow. What fun I had. I met my husband there who was doing an aerobatics demonstration in his Pitts Special....probably would not make any sense to you unless you know airplanes.
Married, came south, raised my daughters and did what every southern lady does...VOLUNTEER

Lissa,
Your blood test should be available by now. Try to call and check on them. Wait and see what the results are.
Just wanted to say that you sound like a very together, mature young lady. And someone who loves horses...me to and we have had four. I even liked to muck stalls.

Ohhhh My...there are ghosts everywhere. Still can't get my spell check on totally on my own. Keeping it simple for now. I am hoping for Catherine to save my day and find it and give it back. Notice the simple wording and short of letters.
I HAVE TO HAVE MY SPEL CHEK BAK AND DONT WANT PEOPLE TO FEAL THAT I HAV A PROBLUM.
Sad, isn't it. Karen
