Time, just time. It truly is an emotional roller coaster...with many ups and downs. This will pass as time goes by.

Make sure that you are getting adequate supplements that will help your state of mind. B-12 is a biggy, as well as folic, and iron.

I am sure that other will post with additional information.

Hang in there, it will get better.

  2. and I was just pouinting out that the threads title wasn't conducive to that though of course she'll never see that if Im on the ignore list.

I saw the TITLE of the thread and just added it to my mental list of threads to ignore stirring up trouble (which obviously wasn't the intent) but Im pretty sick of these constant threads anyway... so I just presumed it would be another of those threads.

Since momma goose never seems to read anything I post I presume I am on her ignore list so I figured there is no point even saying anything .... (which I seem to be doing a lot of lately since so many people think its rude to correct people who post erronius facts, I just don't bother)

Come to think of it why am I bothering with this???

bah its not worth my effort typing it

    Steve, you presume too much.

  3. Good to see you again.

The test is not a big deal at all. I had both, but not at the same time. Each time, they gave me a shot and lights went out. Woke up and had no issues, just a sore throat for a day of so.

But make sure that you take someone with you who can speak to the dr. after the proceedure. You won't remember the conversation.

The worst part is drinking the junk you are now. Good luck, and please don't you worry. It is sooo easy.

  4. I have been here on this site for over a year and I have gotten the most help that anyone dx with Celiac can have. The answers aren't always here, not always for a solution, as best we try, but also, which is most important ...for the support and life shared experiences.

I remember when this site was a fun place to go when you were feeling bad. Someone always seemed to pick you up and made you feel better. There were friends that made you feel better, even though you felt like crap.

There are a number of people with an alternative life style on this site. I do think that all should be open to a fluid life of others.

AND THIS IS THE FULL MO0N OF OCTOBER, ANY ONE TO BOOGY DOWN??:lol:

  5. Babe:

After the realization or what you have to deal with, it does get easier.

You don't have to buy gluten free prepared food, but buy natural. All veggie, meats, seafood are all gluten free, and there is a ton of junk food that is gluten free. I can fill you in on seasonings that makes it all taste better and yet, gluten-free.

Take a deep breath, back up, and we will get you started. If you have questions about brand named products, just ask. Soon you will know what to buy and what not too.

Keep an open line here and ask away. We have a lot of good folks here, with a lot of knowledge.

btw- Hellman's is the best ever.

    Hope this helps

  6. I have thought of this often. With a possitive dx with endoscope, I am curious about other possible causes of flatten/blunting of villi. There MUST be other causes other than a gluten intollerance. I have tried to do some research, but found nothing.

I have had a very acid stomach for as long as I can remember. During stress periods, it does get worse. Is it possible that severe stomach acid entering into the small intestine could cause the blunting and flattening of the villi. Perhaps it's not Celiac?

This makes sense to me. Excess acid burning it's way throught my system.

I have been without my Aciphex for several days and I'd dying here, can't breath, can't eat and look like I'm about to give birth.

    Any thoughts here.

There are others, but these are the ones on the new Delfi Product List for 2006. Hope this can get you started. :)
