    Work in Progress.... Not sure what's going on, but some mods have "veiw new posts" in a new location (upper left) and other (as in me) don't have it at all. Give it some time and perhaps it will work out....I hope. It leaves me dead in the water.

    Receding gums can be caused by using antacids and extreme thirst is often associated with Celiac symptoms because you absorb water in your small intestines (70% if I recall). If your villi are damage, it hinders the absorption of water as with other vitamins and minerals.

    Deb, If you are certain that Xanax contains gluten, I would suggest that you contact the pharmacist that owns/operates the gluten free drugs site and inform him of your "homework".     Would you please site your references for your conclusion. I have never heard of this. Perhaps, it's the sulfites in the wine that you are reacting to.
