  1. Yup, that must be it. The Forum is California based. A little shake, rattle and roll, huh?
  2. Peter, thank you, but to no avail. SCOTT, put it back. (please )
  3. Is the Log-In/Log-Out button gone as well?
  4. Work in Progress.... Not sure what's going on, but some mods have "veiw new posts" in a new location (upper left) and other (as in me) don't have it at all. Give it some time and perhaps it will work out....I hope. It leaves me dead in the water.
  5. Keep everything simple. Meat, seafood, potatoes, rice, fresh veggies and fruit. Stay away from processed food for a while and limit your seasonings to salt and pepper. Later, you will be able to add addition things when you learn more about what to look for in ingredients. Scratched pots and pans should be replaced and a shared toaster won't work ...
  6. Receding gums can be caused by using antacids and extreme thirst is often associated with Celiac symptoms because you absorb water in your small intestines (70% if I recall). If your villi are damage, it hinders the absorption of water as with other vitamins and minerals.
  7. After an extended period of being gluten free, it would take the equivalent of 3-4 slices of bread for an estimated 3 months for the test not to be jeopardized by diet. Blood tests as well as biopsies can be inaccurate. It sounds like your doctor is on top of things. If you respond well to a gluten free diet, that in itself is a diagnosis. Whether you...
  8. thump....thump.....thump. Please read the ENTIRE thread, educated yourself regarding McD's French Fries and then make your OWN PERSONAL CHOICE.
  9. Deb, If you are certain that Xanax contains gluten, I would suggest that you contact the pharmacist that owns/operates the gluten free drugs site and inform him of your "homework". There is contact information on the site. I'm certain that your efforts would be appreciated. Open Original Shared Link
  10. (sorry, don't know how this format happened)
  11. Happy Birthday Scott! Celebrate well! ...and also to the others who celebrate their birthday today.
  12. Patti, you of all people ought to know how to scare a bee. You yelll... BOOBEE!!! (I learned that from my children when they were very young and some really, really immature adults that I know)
  13. Open Original Shared Link Here is a listing of common finings in beer and wine, none of which has a wheat derivative. Could it be that the non-traditional wines may contain wheat as a fining agent? Don't know.
  14. Open Original Shared Link I would think that should there be any cross contamination from the barrels that it is less that the 200pps. [edit] Accuracy of "gluten-free" labels I can't find any source for this, but I can't image this (wine containing gluten) to be accurate. Otherwise, there would have been screaming from all the support and lobby organizations...
  15. Would you please site your references for your conclusion. I have never heard of this. Perhaps, it's the sulfites in the wine that you are reacting to. All wines contain sulfites with the exception of some US organic wines that do not add sulfites. Unless you're drinking this: Open Original Shared Link
  16. Hey, ya'll speak for yourselves! I like snarky!
  17. The title of this thread made me laugh out loud!
  18. YEAH!.....those too. Closets full'a 'um.
  19. You have to pass a 346 page entrance exam, to include an IQ test. You have to possess the ability to tell someone that they are acting like a jerk in the most diplomatic of ways. You have to clear the Board of SPAM, even though you want to order every item for yourself. (I already have a closet full of Nike shoes). Yeah, well, that's about it. SERIOUSLY...
  20. I was hoping that Peter wouldn't reveal our magical powers. I actually posted that, but edited because there is always someone who jumps up your arsenal.
  21. A warning is issued due to a violation of the Board Rules. The Board Rules are simple and few. An individual poster can view his/her own warning level ( with the exception of the moderators). Individual warning levels are not vieweable by the general membership. A warning of 100% will terminate membership on this Board. Warning are viewed by all...
  22. After three warnings, the member is no longer a member here. One warning is valued at 33%. I would recommend that you contact Scott Adams (admin) and discuss this with him. Some concerns regarding warning are very legitimate and worthy of discussion.
