ARCHIVED Any Other Tall Celiacs Out There?nogluten- replied to LqrMan's topic in Related Issues & Disorders Are you taking Fosamax or anything for the osteopenia? That seems to be helping me a lot. I'm only 5' 6, so I guess I'm about average height for a woman? I've also always been very thin.

When I'm craving something really good, I make brownies, put vanilla ice dream on them, and some Hershey's syrup heated up poured over it all. It's really good and reminds me of Chocolate Thunder from Down Under at Outback, which is a good gluten free but not dairy free dessert.

ARCHIVED Scared To Tearsnogluten- replied to bellybattle's topic in Celiac Disease Pre-Diagnosis, Testing & Symptoms Don't worry about the endoscopy. The fentanyl usually makes you nice and happy (like many others have mentioned)before you have a chance to feel a thing. I told my doctor he was very handsome before passing out ! (I had never thought that before, but i guess the fentanyl gave me some beer goggles.)

ARCHIVED Pillcamnogluten- replied to Claire's topic in Celiac Disease Pre-Diagnosis, Testing & Symptoms I thought the pill was very easy. The prep part is the worst of any of the g.i. testing, I think. Once you have that done, you're set. The pill is kind of big, but easy to swallow, and the camera sits in front of you like a fanny pack. You go back at the g.i. doctor at the end of the day and they take the fanny pack/camera and someone at a lab checks every...

Skarlet, I hope you feel better. Do you have any zantac, prevacid or anything like that? That heartburn/reflux pain is miserable.

The stomach swelling is so irritating- and painful. Right now I look like I'm six months pregnant because I ate something bad. It will be flat in the morning, but one mistake and i'm blown up again.

ARCHIVED Waiting For Celiac Disease Blood Test Resultsnogluten- replied to Connielynn38's topic in Celiac Disease Pre-Diagnosis, Testing & Symptoms Connielynn, I think getting enough sleep will be very helpful for you in many ways- if you don't sleep, you can't heal and will feel more stressed. Good luck with your surgery. I know it's hard to do all that you need to when you're not feeling well. Try to break down what you have to do into small steps. Maybe do the dishes, rest for a while, then...

Is the cinnamon raisin bread decent? I just ordered some... I hope it's not gross. Someone on here suggested trying the English Muffins instead of the buns, because I thought the buns were like a hockey puck.
