Jillian, Thank you for sharing the news,I actually was thinking about oats some weeks ago ,I will let you know the result,we are going to try it for 6 weeks,and we have an appointmet with his immunolog and we will do the igg and ige once more,he had this test in may,so we have something to compare with. take care
  2. It was a research in Norway ,studying oats and celiac in 8years ,and the result was that oats is safe,regarding gluten,but soy is also safe ,in this regard but most people with celiac can t tolerate it,some can,I am going to try oats for my son and will let you know.
  3. Hi, I know how you feel.how old are your childern? I nursed my son,I don t have celiac or other autoimmune condition ,but he developed celiac,eczema,.. I really don t know if there is any conection,I am trying to figure it out as well. did her diet much diffrent from the other two? my son loved milk,cheese and pizza,and I think may be that is the reason...

  6. sorry to hear about your problems,I know what you are going though.My son is really allergic to almost every thing,but is much better now.after 6 months gluten free ,casein free and soy free. we have eliminated egg from his diet,his immunologist recommended that and and most of his problems were gone in 6 weeks time. just hang in there. best of luck ...

Thank you Lisa, My son plays flute and he said he can not move his fingers in the way he wants(he used to be very good) and he also says he can not carry heavy things he feels his hand is exploring,It was his exact words to explain the problem and he cried. we found out that his vitb12 is border line deficiency,so may be some b12 can hellp,.do you know...
  11. Thanks for the reply, I am in scandinavia and couldn t find sublingual tablets here,contacted country life and they said they don t ship outside us.here when I asked why they don t sell sublingual b12 ,the lady told me some people had bad reaction.

  13. I did breast feed my son,for the first year of his life,and no one else has celiac or allergies in our family. I can t find any explenation for his condition today,rather than his diet later in life,alot of milk,and pizza!!

Hello all, My son cried this evening,he said he had this problem for a while ,but didn t tell us any thing ,because he thought it will go over,he describes the condition as a rare feeling in his right hand muscles,like it is going to explore if he carries some thing which is a little bit heavy,we went to his doctor last week ,and he said it is not so important...

  16. My son had very itchy skin,he also couldn t have a proper night sleep,after eliminating gluten ,casein ,and soy, he dosen t itch at all,it took about 6 weeks to see the difference,and dot better and better with time,he gets the itchy skin if gets gluten or casein.
  17. what about ferritin ,hemoglobin without ferritin doesn t say much,also TIBC is important ,so one can see how the iron absorption is,which can pin point,the health of villi. best of luck

  19. My son reacts between 1-4 hour,he will have very itchy skin and a tight nose during the night.It will reduce during 1-2 weeks.
  20. extra virgin coconut oil is fine,very easy to digest.

I might just wished to bleive in this theory: which says the immune system may forget,and that is when they call it a period of remision. so if you religiously avoid an allergen like gluten you may introduce it,and amazingly see that you immune system has forgotten the bad relationship with it.

  23. Thank you very much. He uses computer 1 hour a day,and he is borderline for b12 deficiency.strangely enough he is a little bit high in calcium. Thanks for all the replies

  25. Hello all. my son is experiencing muscle cramps in his right hand,I am so worried,has anyone else has this problem ,he says it comes from his arms to his fingers,can this be related to celiac? thanks
